Are the drying racks that high to keep children or goats from getting to the drying crop? It looks rather un-ergonomic.
This looks like very good solution. A very good labour saver. I have worked a woodchipper so I see an option to have a break bar above the inlet or intake of both shredder, just to help keep hands and fingers out. The propagation experiments look quite successful too. I can't get the video to do Ethiopian to English. It seems to be locked to Arabic somehow. I broke UA-cam again.

Hi! Can you show in a video, how the farmers propagate the ensete plants? corm division or by seedlings or anything else?
Enset can be propagated in both ways, vegetative propagation or it can also be propagated via it's seed. But most farmers prefer vegetative propagation or corm division. I will try
@@addisufekadu4463 Seed propagation provides more genetic variability in a field and so more disease resistance than vegetative propagation. The Irish potato famine was because they were using vegetative propagation so all the plants were effectively clones and very vulnerable to disease. However if you have low productivity wild relatives of the plant in the area cross pollination can degrade the quality of seed propagated plants.

Yes, they keep it in a soil pit/in a bamboo basket covered with enset leaf. Traditionally, the fermentation lasts from 2 -6 months. Then they use the fermented paste to bake bread. doi.org/10.1016/j.fm.2018.02.011
