      Yes the cake is always placed onto a cake board before I covered with ganache or buttercream

    Hi,Do you refrigerate the cake once it's covered with fondant before using the acrylic smoother?

      I don't place my cakes back into the fridge once covered in fondant as it makes the paste sweat (unless you place it into a lidded box)
