This is so helpful! At almost 30, I'm starting to do ballet exercises to correct never having learned to balance my body with my core, or regulate my breathing well during exercise. I learned how to walk later than most babies because I had open heart surgeries, and a collapsed diaphragm. I was also very accident-prone as a child. This stuff is helping me feel more graceful and energetic than ever. :)

In chaines you don't use second, you have to keep first position (at least in classical ballet)

I did not feel like a failure during this video, I felt motivated and inspired to learn. Learning doesn't come easy for me, I'm one of those people who gives up after five minutes if I haven't mastered any skill... But you made me CONTINUE. I really appreciate your progressions for each exercise and how you broke down the skill to the most basic level! I'm new to teaching, and the only tutorials I find on UA-cam are professionals who can already do everything amazingly and don't bother really breaking the moves down. Thank you so much!
