Coming along from the Green Beret assembly. I am shocked to see this experience and even this is 7 years old. So I write from the future so to say. LOL. Reyn.... You´re great man. Please live you life man. Do your passion as it will fullfil your life :)

For me this is the GOAT of C64 remixes. Not only as a remix but also an incredible piece of showmanship and skill with all the instruments and even improvising the entire stuff on the spot! Even with the vintage Echoplexes without the contemporary multitrack loopers with all the bells and the whistles. Also it was cool to see this done again live at the Breakpoint festival. Reyn’s stuff was for me the only reason I ever started as a looper artist and this was one of the key elements that define what a C64 remix is. -basscadet

Saw James Vincent McMorrow play this last year and it being my favourite of his is a tough ask but Reyn you just improved on it. Massive respect mate

This remains one of my favorite youtube videos ever, even after 15+ years. The music never lost its impact, even counting from way back in my C64 days. But wouldn’t we all love a modern 4K revisited version. One can only hope. Love your work Reyn. Greetings from Tilburg (NL)

As a kid of the eighties vividly remembering playing Wizball at a friends' C64 I was mesmerized by the sound of that SID chip. Thank you for bringing back fond memories. Great performance!

I always come back to this awesome live remix. I remember playing this in two-player mode with my friend, I was the cat and he was the wizard. The game was great but Martin Galways music was just exceptional and this is so true to the original, but brought to this day and age. Just masterful, I get tears to my eyes just remembering those times as a kid, without a worry in the whole world.

This has to be one of the best things ever posted on UA-cam. A C64 composer covering his own tune from decades ago, and in such a manner. This should be recorded and preserved for generations to come.

This music production is 3 times longer than most music played nowadays and if the current ones are as long it will mostly wear off fast ... but with Reyn productions you want to hear more :)

"Exceed the Matrix" said Morpheus to Neo .... This video is BEYOND C64 and even way beyond "normal music" productions!

I know this is live jamming (and a real master peace!) ... and jamming is partly pure improvisation "not planned" being "in the zone" having the right unique "muse" etc. etc. Now my BIG question: IMAGINE Reyn Ouwehand decided to do the same again in 2023 or 2024 but this time with superior audio quality recording ... COULD HE DO IT AGAIN (maybe doing it even better?) ... or was it so perfect that it can never be replicated again as there are way too many improvised "in the now" flows that it is difficult to do it on the same level ... Any attempt to do it again is different and may never have the same vibes! ... The harder you "try" the more it seemed "controlled" which is the opposite of the original flow... RIGHT? Am not sure if I am right, but I feel & sense am very close to the truth!.

Has anyone a higher quality mp3 version of this ?
