I miss that shit.
He dead smoking😢😢
My favourite cigarette 🚬 thankfully I gave the habbit up 3 years ago here in the UK is was paying £14.40p a pack plus the fact smoking isn't sociable these days the British pub is dying and you can't even smoke a cigarette outside a pub now .
£ 14,40 wow!
Here I am in 2025 remembering this commercial when I was a kid … my dad smoked malboros back then and he said only the cool people smoked malboros In those days smoking didn’t come with a warning it was really cool and trendy to smoke
Never smoked thank God, but love that guy and perfect background music borrowed from the magnificent seven movie 👍👍👍
Cowboy coffin nails.

Marlboro Lights were one of my earliest brand choices, when I began to occasionally smoke in my mid teens. But the more I got hardened to smoking, the more I gravitated to the stronger cigarettes. I tended to buy Lambert & Butler, B&H Sovereigns and Mayfair because they were the cheapest strong smokes. Around £1.20 (UK) for a pack of ten. The cheaper brands tended to taste a little rough, though tolerable. But my preferred brand easily became Marlboro red-pack. But they were way more costly, at around £1.80 for ten. I was a seriously heavy smoker in my early to mid 20s, I only worked three hours a day at that time and I estimate that I was hitting 60 to 70 cigarettes at my peak. Yeah, I know. Marlboro had that throat hit like no other, seriously strong but smooth. They weren't like smoking old rope, which other strong bands tended to be. The worst tasting strong brand was JPS. Man alive, even I couldn't handle those. They were rough as all hell, it was like smoking a freshly creosoted plank of wood. Anyhoos, I'd better stop pouring out my smoking memories here. I quit around twenty years ago, in case anyone is horrified by my one-time crazy 60+ a day addiction. Amazingly, I was told by a nurse that I'd quit just in time for its affects to be reversable and not likely to cause any future health problems.

Smoking is not dangerous for your health says felix the cat
Smoking killed a fraction that obesity and garbage food has through the decades……Funny how tobacco industry were the Only major villains??? I guess because Smoking increases Testosterone levels in men whereas Alcohol and obesity diminish them.

Ahhh the good old days I used love these commercials & the classic music playing in the background & the narrator saying come to Marlboro country! Imagine if they played these commercials now lol Total meltdown
I'm old enough to remember watching TV ads like this when I was a tween. Peddling the ol' cowboy killers, lol.
Great creation

Good to know an African company is doing well!!!!
Se fosse no Brasil usariam o cavalo da raça " Manga Larga Marchador"
Give that horse a cigarette?
0:13 'you don't see many wild stallions anymore' I wonder how much tobacco farming has impacted wildlife habitats. They sure impact tropical virgin forests a lot
When a man was a man! Men are being Emasculate! America and in Europe! That's what's wrong with the world! Move To Thailand Vietnam Asia Philippines where a man can still be a man!
Bring back tobacco advertising for God's sake
Why? It's the cause of more preventable death than anything else around the world.I say bring back more anti tobacco PSA's.
The commercial that killed Patric Swayze. In an interview he stated he smoked Marlboro because it was cool, he was a cowboy..
I really liked Patrick Swaizie. However, no one was responsible for his cigarette smoking except for himself.
I had to quit smoking for health reasons but I still remember how good Marlboro Reds tasted and smelled. They were the best tasting cig. in the whole world, no wonder so many people became addicted to them. I would give anything almost if I could have one once in a while but I know I can't, DAMN!
they smell like shit lol
You are still hooked on the drug! Buddy juat stopt, there is no sacrifice, you aint losing nothing! I smoke and i wiah i never would put a damn cig on my mouth again! It's hell, everyday!
😂😂😂
They are the finest cigarette no doubt
In England cigarette advertising was band on tv in 1965 but was allowed In the the cinema till the 80s and cigar and pipe tobacco was allowed on tv till 2002
Millions of death but trillions of love Marlboro ❤
There's ppl who die and don't smoke cigarettes 😂
My good friend was actually in this advert!
Kanker komt je niet aanwaaien.

Millions of deaths because of this ❤
Everyone dies of something
@@wurlitzer78 said every cigarette smoker ever 😂
Smoking killed a small fraction compared to Obesity and ruined far fewer lives and families than Alcohol. Tobacco companies were just the political scapegoats. Smoking obviously not healthy but there are far worse things.
Wonderful

THAT AD IS COMING TO THE DISNEY CHANNEL

If this is a 1970s Marlboro ad as you claim, then it must have aired throughout 1970 and had aired for the very last time on New Year's Day of 1971 after which date, cigarette ads were forbidden on American television and radio and have been ever since. The enactment of that ban was delayed until January 2, 1971 so that the cigarette companies could advertise like crazy during the telecasts of the New Year's Day college football championship bowl games of 1971.
But in the Philippines, it was aired after that cause I was born in 1980, but I can't recall when I started watching TV in black and white monitor. Their tagline is so ingrained in my memory as a child.
