Hey, I'm currently taking Game Design Bachelor Program through Full sail. I just did Into To Programming last month and this blows my mind and makes me so sad... In my Inro to programing they didn't teach us anything about coding languages at all. The only thing they taught was "visual Programming" on Unreal Engine.. I was so disappointed when I found out that I wouldn't actually be learning a real programming languages. It seems that the entire Game Design Program at Full Sail has just went to crap...

About to start discreet mathematics myself

I got to Project and Portfolio 1, the feature I had to create was a flashlight. Aside from a lab lecture showing how to make the spike trap & health bar, this class just offers really no help, so I had to do everything else from scratch. I never did programming until now, and damn it was tough. No portfolio either, I feel cheated and lied to-

I love your videos. I am in the same boat as you were. I am 38 and starting in January. I have to take the Math Assessment thats on my todos and been holding off on it because im scared of it. I havent taken a math class in ... oh my lord... approximately 20 years... How the hell did I get so old? I don't know what to do with this. I feel that math is going to be my demise for this school. I should have helped my H.S teacher find X 😞

I start Discrete Math tomorrow I’m extremely nervous

Heres some tips. since I am in Web dev. I sure I will be facing something like this. But, I am taking up extra studying time and material up through youtube and other programs that I am paying for out of pocket if not free. I made it my mention to do this waaay ahead of time because i really want to graduate soon as possible. But now that you are saying fullsail will throw us a curve ball even if we are not prepared for it...ha ha ha...I will be. I will be spending hours in a day making sure I am ready. Thats for the heads up for the C# and E# even if i dont need it. I rather be prepared then underprepared.

A lot of FullSail information is outdated and not written properly. Like I had one class where week 1 or 2 was not written properly as in more English spelling errors and words in the wrong place inside of a sentence then I could bear. And if I was not dyslexic I would not of understood what the author or whoever wrote that part of the TEM class was saying. You game devs aren’t the only ones goin through this mess. I’m a web dev and I have to deal with this in English classes.

I’m in web dev now. When I saw all of my assignments for the week coming which is August 1 I immediately google full sail discrete math 🤣 to see if any one have any tips or out look on the work. Thanks for the videos. Now I can breathe. I think I was good at algebra when I was in high school but not college.

Hey man I was wondering where did u get your private tutoring from because I have a feeling that I will need it too😭?

Just wanted to let you know I had to have a meeting with the programm director about this class especially about the fact that the teachers dont help and theirs no help from anyone or anywhere but needless to say I found out they r doing away with the curriculum completely it's all unreal 5 and blueprint now NO MORE LANGUAGES will be in project and portfolio 1 or intro to programming no more languages guys

Glad to see you back! Just finished my last week of this class and they are having us do stuff with UE5 now instead of the pekachuka. Hope you been good :) mostly worried about intro to programming but holding my 4.0 so far
