The AK47 of the watches. I lived in Mexico with a girl, scuba diving instructor and cave diver. All her too expensive fashionable dive watches died flooded after the replacement of the battery or accidents. Fed up of that mess I bought at the Russian site a Vostok Amphibia with the scuba dude plus spare parts. After some tickling I got +1 to 3 seconds a day. And I gave it to her as gift. She was less than enthusiastic at the beginning, as the watch did not looked very fashionable, but after 3 months of 3 dives/day 6 days/week the watch was pristine after a few shocks and a serious accident. She used it 10 years and took it back to Europe.

Many thanks. I enjoyed this true field hard test of this very cheap "sport watch". I bought one for less than 6 euros at AliExpress as I wanted a cheap watch for motorcycling. In fact it's a total bang for the buck.😘Subscribed.

I got the first model “swing lugs“ just the other dial, the chocolate one with the numbers and made me fall in love with Vostok divers.

A veteran of that war asked me to give him such a watch. I was looking for 2 months, but I found it. Now we have another watch from this series in stock from 1991, completely new with documents.

Got one from Goodwillfinds. After battery change, it worked! The time button is tricky if held too long, resetting the watch. But, quick taps let you set it. Love this watch. One of my top 4!

I have a first version but it was a gift from an FB friend who knew I was into them. It came from his father in Poland. I also have two second-generation (119), one original and one modified and I wear them both. My sniper has issues and I doubt it's waterproof.

I love all of them. My favorite Vostok watch, and I never take it off is a 100510 with the factory bracelet.

G'morning Danny 🤠 . That's a great deal, thanks for the heads up my friend 🙃 . Most people don't realize it but Sanda has been in business making electronics and watches for a very long time. We used to have a locally owned department store called King's that use to sell a lot of electronics and watches from Sanda & casio. That's where I bought my first watch that got me started in this hobby when I was a kid with my allowance money and that was long before Shopko Walmart or Fred Meyers even existed 🙃 .

BTW, writing on the case back is: с противоударным устройством- пылевлагонепроницаемые. Which means: with shockproof device - dust and moisture resistant.

3:47 : Même problème avec la Mx-5, mais heureusement, il y a une manette dans le vide poche central, alors pour peu que la capote ne soit pas enclenchée on peut déverrouiller le coffre depuis l'habitacle. Au sujet des jantes, perso j'avais aussi des 16" montées sur mon Mx lorsque je l'ai acheté d'occaz, l'ex-proprio trouvait que ça avait de la gueule, sauf qu'elles pesaient pratiquement 8kgs pièce. Sur conseil d'un garagiste concourant en Impreza sur des rallyes locaux, je suis redescendu sur du 15" qui correspond à la monte d'origine sur cette édition, et j'en ai profité pour la chausser en SW388 et Advan A048 (quand ils étaient encore dispo). C'est phénoménal à quel point elle a gagné en directivité !
