CBC University of Life, is a non-profit organization located in a slum community in Fortaleza, Brazil. We support children of any color, race or religion.
In Brazil, only 16% of children will finish primary school, 8% will finish high school and 6% will go to college. In the slums, over 50% of children stop going to public school before they reach age 11.
By offering quality education, CBC University of Life steps into the gap where the public school system in Brazil is failing. The project provides 4 hours of supplementary education and introduction to arts (painting, dance, drama, music) for the students.
We are working to create a pathway out of poverty for children through quality education and training. We seek to engage a mindset of independence and inspire these children to reach for their dreams. We believe that we can change the nation of Brazil, one child at a time.
