No worries at all Marc!

This was a learning experience for my daughter. I wanted her to learn how everything was going to feel when we hit the track or autocross for real.

My pressures change depending on how it feels. I usually like 29F 27R, on Abby's run sit was raining at the start. So I wanted her to determine where to go.

@@Sirus1 got it, i've also been running 2 psi lower in rear with these new 660s based on pyro data...

Thanks! I was finding time with concentrating on the exit (both the left and the right) of the first skid pad, then getting the hard left 90 right. I felt at one with the BRZ in the wiggle sequence, just before the 90, and on this run it was magic. I was on the gas a little early, but it was the best entrance to the downhill section I had all day.

Thanks! From talking to others in SSC, seems that you have to ease into the brakes a little more.

Thanks! I just needed to take a bit more from the left hand sweeper and give a touch more to the right. That would have given me a better exit and allowed me to get on the throttle sooner for the slalom. Instead I had to wait on the rotation, before getting on the gas.

​@@Sirus1 It's nice you can analyze your data/video and see where you left speed. I also noticed your pace slow just a bit towards the end with the last right sweeper vs the the second to last left and I was the same. For me it's a matter of perception. I'm consistently slightly bellow the limit when turning right vs left because I can't see as well on that side of the car and therefor can't judge my distance as well and subconsciously hold back some. It is something I'm working on.

@@CurtisHuffman-cj5qm it will come with practice, visualize where your exit is, and what you need to be doing for the next element? Is it accelerating, braking, maintaining momentum, these should dictate your mid-corner adjustments. In my case, I saw that I had a little room and thought I could still early apex the right hand sweeper, so I pressed the gas on the exit of the left. That little push gave me the speed, but it was too early and pushed me too far inside, pinching my entry to the right.

Thank you very much! I still have some work to do. In this case, I was still at least ,5 seconds off where I want to be on each side. We are both getting there. Needless to say, her time is easier to find than mine.

Thanks! We made suspension changes at Waldorf on 5/13/2023, that brought the backend to life. Those really helped for this course. I found the bouncing behind each cone and carving to bleed the speed to be the easiest for me, for the decreasing distance offset/slalom. The car would oversteer in the middle sweeper almost every time, as I tried to get back up to speed. I missed it a couple times and flubbed the backside slalom/left kink trying to brake before the kink. So I just repeated the carve behind to set it up there too.

My problems started just after the second trip through the cross over. I finally smoothed it out, but fell offline early and didn't pull it back to the line untill the right/left on crest of the hill.

Thank you! We are trying to get her eyes looking through the corners and she's doing really well. The braking display is calculated and the throttle data for this run was wonky. It just doesn't match up to the rpms/engine noise. I don't think she left foot brakes yet.

I really like mine. I've only had a couple of times where it flaked out. But those were times where we were in grid shut off the car and started it just before leaving for the line. So we've learned to just leave the car on, for multiple reasons (mainly TracCntrl).

I have 3 sets of OEM sized wheels 17x7 stock offset. Stock wheels (Black/Silver) for competition, BRZ STI wheels(Back) for street , and Enkei Raceline RC5 (Bronze) (16lbs) for classes and none SCCA events. With the Falken tires on I run 3mm spacers on the front wheels, or they rub on the eibach sway bars.

@@Sirus1 how's 225 run on 7 inch wheels? I see most ppl suggest 7.5 inch for 225

You can just watch, but for $60 it is much more fun to do it and learn as you go.
