@@McLoom1 it was some form of delivery van. Very lucky though the back of the van already has a fan, LED lights and has an inverter.

Thank you! Van is currently at the shop getting 90% of the rest of the work done so we are only about a week or two away.

The sit down talk was with our Sony camera. The other videos were done with front facing camera. The quality of the Sony is far superior.

Even more stealthy with a caddy. Less stealthy if you have camper decals all over it but honestly parking a caddy will be much easier than it was for us in the VW T5 or our new XLWB Peugeot boxer.

Yes, we have two vans currently being converted. 1 full time off grid home and 1 for Katie for work. We just love the van life 🤪🤣

That’s an idea of a range for a good van build. There’s so many ways of bringing that cost down from being savvy though. Using Facebook market place or getting sponsorships/affiliations. You can easily do it for 10k or less with a good social media account.

Hockey season starts end of august, was hoping to get away before the season starts. It’s will be touch and go if it will be ready 😅but yeah plenty more videos

@@KatieAdam You’re doing great, don’t let the little stuff get to you. If you were one of my techs, we would fix the problem, I’d give you crap for a day or two then we’d move on. If putty and paint doesn’t fix it, put a frame around it that covers the damage, easy peasy. Now get back to work!

We visited in late April. It was not cold, we actually had fantastic weather around 15-22 degrees Celsius. When the sun came out we were happy in shorts and t-shirt.

We sold this van and now have a new van with no gas, full electric off grid!

I guess there’s two ends of the spectrum, I’ve seen van builds done for £2k and some for £55k. We all have a budget, as long as everyone’s happy and living their best “Vanlife” 😂

Hmmm… what directing is it supported to go? 😂

@@KatieAdam in whatever direction the bit rolls with the push instead of against it. In one direction the bit really has to chew because of the direction the bit is spinning. it's spinning against the direction you're pushing the router. Pushing the router in the opposite direction the bit rolls with the push. So the bit heats up less. Typically on a flat horizontal surface the correct direction is to the right. I think Some routers you can change the direction the bit spins also.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. We got the windows from Cheshire vehicle windows. The size we used was 1100mm x 450mm for both sides.

It’s all a learning process isn’t it. Finding out what works for you. We are currently building our new van but the cooking facilities will be portable, air fryer and induction hob which can be used outside or inside 👌🏽 don’t want your bed sheets smelling like a steak 😂

Glad the video was helpful! This route was the hardest of the two we have done. We just used our iPhone maps and followed the directions from the information centre.
