Old kratos may be on the level or slightly stronger than gow 1 kratos, bit gow 3 kratos as the power of Pandora's box, tons of arsenal, was amped with hades souls and tons of other hax, he never meeded plot armour or shit, he jad enough strength, hax and tools to beat prime Zeus. Imold kratos on the other hand has lost almost all of his hax and has just a few weapons also he no longer has the power of hope he had summoned from the Pandora's box and the hades souls that amoed his strength, he had lost it all at the end of gow 3. So, old kratos gets oneshot by yound zeus and young kratos never needed plot armour to beat zeus, if anything, the narrative and the supernatural forces like gaia ot athena help kratos or reviving him from death to help him defeat zeus maybe be regarded as plof armour, but hus battles were instances where plot armour was never needed. That said, Any version of zeus low diffs old kratos and gow 3 kratos beats all versions of zeus with high-extreme difficulty. Don't get me wrong, I prefer olf Kratos because he's a much more introspective, speculative, considerate and morally refined version of himself, but he's no where at the level where young kratos used to be.
