This was a wonderful attempt. I have one question I have to know. Well, two. How much and how long did you listen to this song before doing it? Covers are meant to honor the song which means the performer has heard it and studied it well. My second question is, when you were singing this, did you read the sheet music? I think you should try this again, performing it off of sheet music. When you read sheet music, the musical notes are showing you how long a note is, how many measures ect. Music is beautiful, and if you’re as serious as you seem to be, or, want to be. Please respect it, and learn music through hows it’s written. No artist in the history of music recording does a song without the sheet music. That’s what they don’t reach on UA-cam unfortunately 🤷🏾‍♂️ P.S Even British people and performs have no choice but to sound like (Americans) when they sing. Why? Because they can’t speak with an accent when their reading the music they’re trying to perform. An accent is a way of speech. Reading music eliminates that. The tempo of the notes written control your breath, thus controlling your delivery of speech! That’s why when I hear non English people singing on UA-cam and it sounds funny. I laugh at their inability to pronounce vowels correctly.
