Hey Sarah :) How do you deal with any judgements from going to an IT? I feel like some people might silently judge me going to a technological university instead of a traditional one. It could all be in my head but I'm applying to TUD even though I got high points like you, but since the entry requirements are kind of low, I wonder if people will assume my LC performance.
Hi! I did actually feel slightly the same way when I was deciding but i went for what I thought I’d enjoy the most and I’m so glad I did. Honestly once you’re in college points are completely forgotten about and I definitely noticed that people just didn’t care about anybody else’s points and how they got into the course they did. I would definitely say to study the course you think suits you the best, even if the points are low! It doesn’t mean it’s not a good course it just means there isn’t as much demand for it x

Daniel Riggs yeah I get that, but I think there’s no solution that everyone will be happy with! I just hope teachers give as fair results as possible 🤞🏽
Personally I always saw them changing their mind on that decision, especially after they backtracked on the junior cert. I fully agree with the option of predicted grades with the option to sit the exams if people are unhappy.
Michaela Hawkins yes I completely agree, I think if they continue with the only option being to sit the exam on the 29th of July they will have failed us. And they’ll be putting many students and their family’s health at risk!

Joe McHugh has failed us. He has been nothing but deceptive and secretive during all of this. We’re in a pandemic we need to be open and have some clarity as to what the plans are and get everyone on board instead of secrecy and causing a divide between people.
Pierce Travers -Exactly, how can he expect us to trust what he is saying when it keeps changing and is never the full truth! And how he hasn’t taken our opinion into consideration and is ignoring what the students want.
