Hi, I have got questions. Does tight glutes cause pelvic floor dysfunction? If I do the glutes bridge will it help to reduce the tightness of the glutes and help to improve pelvic floor function?
There are quite a few different reasons for pelvic floor dysfunction. Based on the way that you complete the glute bridge, it may contribute positively towards your pelvic floor function.
@@ccgaines Oh right, if I do the glutes bridge everyday, will it help to make my pelvic floor to work better? What about the tight hips? can glutes bridge helps to release them from tightness?
@@chris01479 It will depend on what's causing the hip tension. The tightness is likely a symptom of a dysfunction or compensation somewhere else in your muscular system. Focusing on developing hip extension strength is one part of the process, but you'll also need to find a stretch for the hips to try as well. Try sticking with a hip strengthening movement (like the bridge) and a stretch (like an elevated front leg pigeon) for 2-3 months and then measure the difference in your hip tightness to determine the effectiveness of the movements.
@@ccgaines Well I am not sure what the cause of the hip tension, but I know I do have tight glutes because I can't move my right knee close to my chest. When I went to see the PT in my last appointment, he did the test on me lie down as I pull my right leg to try to get my knee close to my chest so I couldn't. He said the tight hips can caused tight glutes, lower back and other problems. Does tight glutes or tight hips can caused lower back pain, soreness in the anus, tight quad, curve in the back, pelvic floor dysfunction, tight hamstrings and knee cramp? I will try and ask my PT to teach me how to do hip flexor stretch to see if it make any difference but my PT said he will offer me one more appointment which I still haven't resolve these issues so I'm going to see another one to give me a better treatment.
@@chris01479 It would be a good idea to stick with the suggested stretches for a period of time before trying new ones. Since it likely took time to create the amount of tension that's currently giving you trouble, it will take at least the same amount of time (likely more) with a focused stretching approach to notice meaningful changes to your mobility. So continue with the hip flexor stretches originally suggested. You could also add in a modified pigeon stretch as well to address your hip mobility from another angle.
You don’t see lateral raises at the gym too often? Dafuq?

What is the maximum weight load that this machine can produce? Great video.

Salams. Excellent! Thanx.
great demo, thanks !!
Glad you liked it!
Wrapping the hands around the hamstring helped intensified the stretch. i like the stretch because im working on improving my hamstrings. i usually do the sit and reach which i like. the illustrator in this video is handsome and presented well & like the nike socks. he is good edition to the team although do not see him on this channel often. performance gaines exercises are always little short but always to the point and effective.❤️kim
chris, i luv the channel and been w/ur channel a longtime. your exercises easy to follow. also great that u always remove the shoes and just do socks and gotta luv a guy w/ great sock game which u have but doing workouts in socks is good for mobility mechanics and stability. also you always explain well. you are so handsome and have good presentation. i enjoy following along. ❤️kim
Very graceful and fluid movement!
