Smashing Times are a group from Baltimore with no small amount of love for the noise pop days of C86 and the Pastels. The group does perfectly what only punks playing pop music can do- create chaotic noise in tandem with the sweetest hooks and most sophisticated nihilism. Smashing Times makes psychedelic pop so catchy you swear you've heard before then can't get out of your head.

You are one of the worst (if not THE worst) opening band I've ever seen. You're trying too hard to be BJM. The guy who looks like he could be in an Oasis cover band (the singer), stop trying to be Anton Newcombe. You're hilarious. You even have a tambourine player. Also, don't shush the audience. You come across as pricks when you do that, especially that obnoxious tambourine player. You think you're all that. Not really. Awful.
