Thansk man it helped
My slide doesn't stay back when the magazine is out. Only when the magazine is in the gun and there isn't a bullet in it
Easy and thank you
You’re very welcome
best damn 22 out there a fckin tank I love it eats anything and no hiccups after 500 so far
old video, but just what i needed to know. thanks!
Got my Taurus this year since it’s basically a Glock platform without all the bad publicity and may 1993 is when I was born favorite number is 13. Taurus G3c 9x19 has my birth year zodiac sign and holds my favorite number in a conceal carry that has some good distance and sooo easy to maintain imo. Only owned a few hand me down guns and such before buying my first brand new handgun
Great video
I appreciate all the little details you've included here. The white background helps too. This was much clearer and more complete than most videos attempting to show the field strip and reassembley of a tx 22, and yet it was also nicely compact at just over 3 minutes. Very well done and very helpful!
Thanks for this. I'm not much of a gun guy. I just bought this. The manual DOES NOT say to do this. It says to lock the slide back, then pull that release, then let it forward halfway and then it comes apart. After an hour of attempting this, I turned to you... Thanks again
Exactly what I needed. Thanks for quick and to the point.
I have done exactly and put it back together because I had to clean it but now my Safety doesn't work anymore 😫 please can anyone help
Got my wife a pink one for Christmas. Dry as dust from the factory so I was looking for simple disassembly. Perfect video. You can see exactly what's going on, no extra BS, to the point.
Very helpful video. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
I CANNOT get that take down lever to budge. WTF?! Any help?
Great video. Good job explaining it 👍🏻
great video - so straightforward!
Great video!! Just got a G3C thinking it would be decent “cheap” gun but man I love this thing!!! I’ve never seen a better gun for the money personally!!
Old school cz is easier
Thank you. Your video is clear and concise. For the TX22 beginner, it's the best. Well done.
So I just got that weapon and I watched a video on how to disassemble but that button or slide under the trigger does not pull down I can’t seem to figure out how to disassemble this thing.
So i stopped at 0:57 because bro... internal hammer?! Common its a striker fired pistol please learn your own gun before teaching others
Thank you Kevin. The internet is much better now knowing that. Even though it has absolutely zero to do with the purpose or message in the video it is still good to know.
@@12thgun39lol
Yes kevin I would I have lost my mind if I didn't know that. Thanks dude
Noticed the RING immediately! ‘85

👊🏽great firearm and easy to maintain
Easily the best explanation as how to field strip this gun. Many thanks!!!🙏🤠
Glad I could help. Hit like like and subscribe.
My slide would not break loose, even with the takedown lever lowered. Others have complained of the same problem with new pistols. If you've followed all the other steps and the slide won't budge, give it a good whack from the rear to the front, while holding the takedown lever down. That should get the slide loose and then you can proceed as normal.
Thank you
I really appreciate this first time taking it apart and I feel fully confident next time j got to do it
what price does it have
The coil spring has a flat side on the barrel side. Does it matter which way it goes in?
I haven’t noticed a difference, but I am OCD so I always put it at the bottom.
How exactly did the slide get locked to the back? What do I press?
If your slide is locked to the back remove the magazine by pushing the magazine release button between the grip and the trigger on the left side. Then you should be able to pull the slide back and release it and it should run home. Or you can press the slide release button upward. It is the button in front of the safety on the left side.
If you are asking how to lock it back there are two ways. Insert an empty magazine and pull the slide to the rear. Or you can pull the slide to the rear while simultaneously pushing up on the slide catch/release button on the left side in front of the safety
No serial number on barrel what does it mean ?is it real or fake please guide
Awesome video Thanks so much for posting this. You go slow and explain how to take the g3c apart to thoroughly clean and oil it! I've done it twice now after returning from the gun range.
Clean it every time after range day. You’d be surprised how a little bit of carbon buildup can make a weapon less reliable.
Thanks, made it a lot easier to put together…
Thanks for getting right to it instead of spending five minutes telling us everything about the gun including your grandmother's family history.
Is that a thing others do? 😂
This Video is the best out of all I seen to disassemble the pistol 😊
Glad I could help
Thank you bro for this video. Even with the instruction manual, Iwas still having a bit of a problem getting the slide out. Watching you do it, help me getting it done correctly and faster!
My slide will not lock open without the mag inserted. is this an issue or normal?
You have to push the slide catch up while the slide is completely to the rear. If it won’t do that and your pushing the slide catch up then yes that is a problem.
@@12thgun39 thanks, that is the solution. Appreciate the insight!
my new g3 , i chambered one,.. pulled mag out.... tried to unchamber round..... Slide was jammed and locked tight.... couldnt get round out of chamber !! what issue is wrong with it ? thanks.
my new g2. chambered one, slide jammed, had to send back.. slide button wouldnt work either
I hope they made it right. I’ve had nothing but good experience with the Taurus pistols I’ve owned.
What is price
@1:11 that’s what she said
Shut up
Shut up chain
Brother THANK YOU! I've watched about 10 different videos and you're the only one to actually explain what I needed!!!
Glad to help. What was the hang up?
@@12thgun39 I didn't know to pull both slides at the same time.
Great video. I just recently got a Taurus TX22, and while going through the Manual, I saw nothing about "Dry firing". Usually this is a no-no with a Rimfire. I'd really like to know.
I typically don’t do much dry firing without having a few snap caps in the chamber and magazine. Just seems like a good practice to me. All pistols are designed to release the firing pin into the back of a cartridge. Now am I saying that you HAVE to? Nope, I’m not a designer or engineer of pistols. But for a few bucks I can simulate that with snap caps so why not?
Taurus website says it's okay to dry fire. " Can I dry fire my Taurus? Yes, except for the .22 caliber pistols. .22 caliber revolvers such as models 94 and 941 also should not be dry fired. This does not include the TaurusTX™ 22 because it is designed to be dry fire safe."
This is late but I looked online and it said this pistol is striker fired. So all good to dry fire if you’d like
I go through 9mm FMJ like cereal so I just store it loose in the cans. Sometimes I use mylar bags. My good self defense ammo I keep in the box.
One day I'm going to make a video on my collection go gun locks.
No internal hammer system, TX22 is pure striker fired pistol...
Thanks. I was having a heck of a time disassembling my TX22 and I couldn’t find a video that showed it as clearly as yours does.
Thank you. Short & sweet.
Do you think this would be good for a first gun?
It would be a very good gun to learn proper marksmanship with. It is relatively inexpensive at a cost of around $250. The 22LR ammo is about as cheap as any you can find. The recoil is low and the ease of shooting it is great. I bought one for my students to use because sometimes they show up with something they can’t shoot. I liked it so much I went and got a second one if that tells you anything.
I wish I would’ve gotten this one as my first gun. It will get a person used to using a gun without them having to worry about recoil. And the trigger is fabulous!
Currently have one of these on layaway right now, super excited! Definitely have only seen positive reviews of it
