    Actually in an engineering school in France, i have as a project the build of an hydrofoil rc boat, is it possible for you to share your 3D printed parts plans like the direction part for me to ues them. Thanks a lot !

    Those are some very clean wings.

    It seems the first and last gliders were nose heavy while the second one was just right. I tried a similar experiment except I compared it to a conventional airfoil. Nice video by the way! It was short and sweet.

    What a cool project! Just curious, is this in HKSAR or another county? Anyways congratulations on getting it to work!

    Great hydrofoil! I want to build one with flap control in the foils. Get the front foil flaps and the rear foil pitch control working on a gyroscope..... Happy flying

    what are the dimensions of the first one? (span, chord length, fuselage length...) thx!

    Are the smells of the melted foam a health hazard? I might try it with the end of a hot glue gun cause I don’t have a soldering iron. This is an amazing discovery you made here.

    Thanks. I think maybe we should test like this for more clear: same profile for different size, and same size but different kf airfoil. I like the kfm 2, its simple&clean looking, easy understand and build 😏

    Could you make a throttle to rear foil mix in the transmitter to keep the nose down when throttle is applied. The project is going good thanks for sharing

    • @rccreations8221
      @rccreations8221 4 роки тому

      Yes that’s a good idea, I might also experiment with moving the CG forwards and maybe heating the frontfoils and twisting them down at the tips so the bottom centimetre or so pulls down

    You have done an amazing job on this project. Did you design yourself? Really interested in why you have chosen this layout. Wondering about how you will regulate pitching with out an auto levelling feeler arm. I have got plans to do some more with boats, particularly foilers and ekranoplans in the near future. Can't wait for the maiden. All the best Allen

    • @rccreations8221

      Hi Allen I got the design files for the foils off thingiverse(front foils from a BOR 90 triamaran and the T foil from another rc boat from thingiverse) I built the hull for a different purpose about a year and a half ago which is why it looks so weird.( balsa covered in carbon fibre) As the boat foils higher there will be less lift as the front foils will have less in the water. Thanks for your interest

    Polystyrene is just great. Easy to carve. I use a wire heated with a torch to create holes and grooves. My soldering iron is for soldering. I also cover the servo with painters masking tape then glue them in, because it makes recovering the servo easier.

  • @loganreuter6072
    @loganreuter6072 4 роки тому

    Use a soldering iron is probably a better idea than just scraping out with a knife like I do. You don’t get the little beads of foam on your floor.
