Urrrrgggg the acting in this version of dynasty is so subpar to the original..both Joan Collins and Linda Evans with their facil expressions alone stole the scenes..this is crap at its finest put together with spit and glue...where the hell did these people go to for acting ?!! I mean really?!. This is what passes for talent.?!!..what a cheap knock off imitation.. which is not flattering at all..since when did the character of Alexis need to lean on any man what so ever to just enter a court room.. and that costume she's wearing where'd she get that from filenes bargain basement..!?.what a terrible knock off..

As much as I lived for this and hope that this lands Blake in jail. Jeff continues to annoy me. Like why in the world would he like Alexis? That women is also a murderer, and to cover up her murder she got another guy murdered. She needs to be in a jail cell next to Blake. Please tell that this and the fake Adam thing gets revealed at some point. Can't stand how the characters don't know how awful she truly is.

I have mixed feelings about this recast. New Alexis seems much more powerful and intimidating, as she should be. But the voice of OG Alexis was so unique and perfectly fit her manipulative faux-innocence.🧐

CW Dynasty is like the Yugo of TV shows. The people that made it don't even like it. The Blacklist even beats it in the ratings. If it's so great, then why is the CW bucking it against a ratings behemoth like Hawaii Five-0?

Never heard of this actress. I agree with one of the comments that she doesn't bring the biting humor Nicolette did so well. Miss Sheridan didn't try and copy Joan Collins portrayal of Alexis in the 80's hit "Dynasty". No one could out do Joan Collins so I found Nicolette refreshing and she quickly made the role her own. Now she's gone which stinks! She was the reason I began watching. She brought name recognition to a mostly unknown cast. I had hoped maybe Vanessa Williams would join the cast as Dominic but no such luck. Wouldn't that have been something having two very different and both former "DH" actresses on the same show. Venessa actually replaced Nicoletter after she was unfairly fired. I happened to be home this past Friday and caught the last 10 minutes of the rebooted "Dynasty". I won't go out of my way to watch but will skim through the new episodes on youtube to see if the new actress portraying Alexis is any good. Maybe she will surprise me. I see there is yet another actress portraying Cystal. Also, where is Stephan?

I hope so too. That's what has been missing from the character. She would have never been a joke living in some RV and letting Adam get the best of her that way. I can only hope for better writing this time. I think this new actress resembles Liz.

Theory: Nicolette Sheridan was the voice and Liz lipsync'd it. Actually, he almost looked like N.S. was wearing a Fallon latex mask, therefore it could have BEEN Nicolette.
BTW: RE: Her voice sounding more ruthless, less jokey: That was what Alexis was suppose to sound like. Hate to say it but Nicolette's Alexis was weak compared to the OG Alexis ( Joan Collins). All they had her do is run after Blake like a thirsty, over-the-hill nymphet. Elaine's seems more close to who Alexis was suppose to be: Secretly heartbroken over not having Blake but not going to let him or anyone else see or know it; instead, she's going to go about destroying him and make him wish he never through her aside....like the OG Alexis.
