My favourite has to be NY. I love the reason behind your New York piece, my cousins got married in Central Park in secret and I stitched them a NY Skyline for their wedding gift for their reception ☺️ it will take time but every stitch is progress (and don’t worry about the back no one looks at it anyway!) Congrats on 1k! The stitchy community is truly the best!

Hi Julie. Thanks for another video. I loved all of your projects, your stitching is lovely. I really liked the new one you showed at the end Winter Townhouse. I have been to New York but many many years ago and would love to go back again. It is a long way from New Zealand though. The pattern does remind me of Home Alone which is I love. I’ve recently rejoined the cross stitch community after a 20 + year hiatus, like yourself I’m learning all over again, so many lovely new to me flosstubes to get very Inspired by. I also started with Aida but now have moved on to Evenweave, not sure I’ll tackle Linen, I agree it’s too uneven for me as well. I purchased Zweigart Quakers Cloth, it’s a lovely Evenweave feels like linen. Enjoyed your video, I have subscribed. Maree ❤🇦🇺

Great to see you back again! Love the octopus. I always want to stitch for the bathroom but I shower so hot I worry about the condensation. I saw the debate about Aida I say it the same as you. I couldn’t understand the comments saying it differently because my brain wasn’t processing it any other way. 😂

Both your finishes are lovely. I love the Octopus and encourage you to put it in the bathroom! I've had a cross stitch in the bathroom for about 35 years with no problem. It says "Bath" so I had to put it there! Just have it professionally framed and make sure you tell the framer it will be in a bathroom. If you use your fan it will be fine - enjoy! I feel exactly the same way about linen as you! I think you'll like even weave at 25 or 28 count. Nice and symmetrical! Thanks for sharing your projects and hope you and your husband continue to recover and return to full health.

My name is Jo. I just added myself to your subscribers list. Really enjoying your video. Wanted to mention that my granddaughter, Dana, was in Sister Act a few years ago. She played Sister Mary Robert but she was allowed to call herself whatever name she wanted to (this was a very little theater production)! She chose to call herself Sister Poppy in honor of her grandfather who has since passed away. Needless to say, we spent five nights in a row watching our lovely granddaughter in this delightful show!

My favourite is the Octopus! I remember seeing it on your Instagram and signed up to the Love Poppet Patreon as a result because it’s just gorgeous! I remember my mum having some cross stitch up in the bathroom and I think she used to put them up in hoops with clingfilm across the front to protect the stitches and they lasted well 🙂

The design of Dreaming of Summer is my favourite. I also love evenweave, hope you get the bug for it too!

Hi Julie. I am a new subscriber to your channel. I follow Stitchy Sally and she recommended coming to your channel. Well done on the you tube. I have watched from the beginning videos. I used to live in Manchester up until 1988 so I know and have visited Yorkshire a bit over those years. I moved to Sydney and now in New Zealand, so when I get back to the UK I try and visit the Yorkshire area which is beautiful. Glad to hear you and are your husband are doing well. What a fantastic thing you have done. All of your stitching is beautiful. I think you have one more video up so will go and have a look at that one.
