Why do Bible movies about this verse always have Jesus saying “Oet he“ instead of saying “Let him“ when “Let him” is what the Bible says? Bible)? I’m asking this question because I am not of your faith, so I’m struggling to understand the differences between how Jesus speaks in the Bible and how he speaks in movies about the Bible. Is there a doctrinal or ritual reason that the movies change this? Have I been wrong for saying “let him“ instead of “let he“ all my life? I want to know, because for all of my life I’ve been under the impression that I spoke this language natively (like my parents and siblings).
