That's plywood you dope, it looked rotted so they probably replaced it
Or that’s granules from when the tore the old roof off.
Possibly, but these shingles were pretty bare. From the sheer square footage of the roof and how long it’s been since it was replaced (about 25 years) it’s pretty safe to say that these have built up over time. Thanks for the comment!

We see it a good amount- but we found quite the extreme example and thought it would be fun to show everyone 😅
I would have paid extra to get insulation and make sure the attic is up to code.

I have known Michelle Robinson and her family for most of my life and I honestly can't think of anyone else who deserves something like this more than her. Not only is she an amazing friend but she will give every last bit of her time and effort to help anyone else even if she has never met them. Thank you Mast for doing this for her.
