I feel like this would be less offensive if there was an option to escape, like you could pick the floor you're on either just above or just below the impact zone. I understand this is meant to be "educational" but you have to put yourself in the position of victims or family members of people who lost their lives that day and think about how they would feel seeing this "game" where you can't escape and you either die of smoke inhalation or you have to jump. Educational or not, it can still be very offensive and disrespectful. For example, there is another 9/11 game where you either play as Bin Laden or the military shooting at either the enemy or the towers and people freaked out, rightfully so. Games like this based on real life tragedies are very disturbing no matter what the intention.

I tried to create a nine eleven game on struck d game creator, but the game creator was glitching like all hell.

This is exactly the type of thing that I was thinking of back when VR had only begun to become a thing. What I had in mind though was a hot dog stand somewhere in manhattan with a nice view of the twin towers. There'd be a good hot dog selling minigame and like 30 minutes in you witness the 9/11. Bonkers

People didn't "jump" like this. They didn't jump like they made a conscious decision. There was literal fire at the floors where these people were. The extreme heat was unbearable. Also the smoke pushed people to the windows, they sat at the edges trying to breathe and keep away from the heat. But the fire kept sweeping through and it just kept getting hotter and the smoke became more dense. I think people were trying to stay as long as possible at the edge, but if fire and heat starts burning your skin, your mind will just shut off and your body will go in panic mode, they must have surely fell off over the edge eventually or trying to desperately attempting to climb down rather than "jump".

This is so insensitive. 20+ years later and people who lived through this are still struggling.
