I was watching you do the Kaiju Fight at the end and I think you were so tired you kept forgetting to lock on to Monster Erlang. It was impressive that you beat him free aiming the camera

@@hyperbolicninjayeah those camera angles kept on moving but I had a feel for some of his moves and just kept on moving but he was cheating because that was his advantage and that beam light is too

My favorite part was when he froze me took my drink and tossed it back lol

@hyperbolicninja so many mechanics with both parts with the stone monkey and the shell. Loved it. Was a pain in the ass but loved it. One fight he froze me almost every time I went to heal. The next fight I just didn't heal. Lmao. And as you can see.....immobilize and cloud step aren't as useful on these guys. I actually ended up putting on spellbinder after a bit and many tries. Then just went to town on that monkey ass and kept the pressure on him. Did better each fight till I spanked him. Last fight think I only used half my drinks.

@hyperbolicninja naw, just hard when you are enjoying something and it then becomes not enjoyable. Ch 5 and 6 are not the best. Ch 6 is basically go around and fight nothing but a few bosses and find stuff to get to the big boss. Exploration is literally to find bosses and that's it. Last boss fight is cool though.

That's what I was thinking, I was just over it after 4 shity bosses in a row

@hyperbolicninja yea, the final boss is alright and the secret one is more exciting if you get find that. But yea, shifty cart bosses, boring reskins, and just didn't love the level design here.

Such a shame that this game starts out so good but shits itself in the end parts. Oh well Yellow Loong was fun while it lasted 😆

Yellow Loong seems like a cool fight, he hits super hard but I don't feel like his moves are BS.

​@hyperbolicninja yea his moves are clear and easy to read. He's just fast and that thunder bain doesn't help when he hits pretty hard as is then gets basically double damage when you're under the bain

I will if I can't beat him in another 12 or 13 trys. I made myself the challenge of 20 trys on him without the needle and I came so close to beating him without it.

Well I'll probably have to go exploring before I fight him again. 2nd phase pushes you into Perfect Dodge of everything, but one miss of the dodge and it's game over. Plus he is immune to Immobilize and your spirit transformation is sealed. Definitely a "you're not ready" situation. That being said I'll probably try to beat him without exploring a few more times just to see if I can lol

Yeah it does happen, Dustborn used assets from GTA Online without permission and it's easily proven. This game is an action based game with a ton of Different Bosses. The idea that some of the bosses might have similar attacks to another game makes sense. It's just cope from people salty about Black Myth Wukong out selling Elden Ring in about a month. I'm personally happy for both games success, as single player games without micro transactions are my favorite.

I was feeling good about not leveling up till I got to that Captain of Purple or whatever that boss was called. Now I'm going to have to start really working on a Build. I can't wait to get out of this prison area, this place sucks

@hyperbolicninja chapter 2 really opens the game up in every way. So far it's probably the chapter I've spent the most time in. Sooooo much to explore and find. And boss fight, boss fight, boss fight. Experimented with a bunch of stuff too.

Nah it was all good advice even before I knew it was you. This morning it dawned on me that Will and Xp are different things lol. So I did switch armor sets to fight the big Fire Bear. That was a fun fight

It made me really have to work for it so I enjoyed for the challenge

Well it's biggest issue was the reload animation constantly getting me hit. I found this fight harder than any other thing I've done in the game. Not just cause of the Jar Cannon, with the other challenges stacked on like the 35 vigor and not being able to repec to use incantation Buffs. I never would've won without Tiche, I kept running out of arrows before they died.

I tried so hard not to use Tiche, but after 4 hours of fighting them I just wasn't doing enough damage. I kept running out of Arrows and Flasks so I broke down and pulled her out. Even then it took me another hour to win this fight. Unironically this was harder than Prime/Consort Radahn. I beat him on NG+3 without Spirit Ashes lol

For this style of play, with the Deflecting Hardtear I do think this is the best choice. It has great poise damage, a long range, high damage output, and great guard negation. This was definitely my favorite and easiest time fighting her Solo.
