About 30 minutes to Grand Teton, Yellowstone is a little further but there’s so many views and animals to see you don’t even count the minutes.

At Shingle creek I only seen one gator and gators are scared of the kayaks. If you keep your distance they will keep theirs. Also don’t go in spring during mating season, that’s when they get a little territorial.

Yes there’s a fee to enter the park, but it’s good for a few days. We stayed inside the park and no it wasn’t included. We went to the closest sunset first at the south rim, you can take a shuttle there, we drove. Not sure how long the walk. The second day we drove to around Lipan Point and it was hard to find parking and we got there 40 minutes before the sunset.

I want to say about $140 a night, wife wanted to stay in a log cabin like that, it was nice. Close the National Parks, in downtown Jackson. I stayed at many hotels, this one has good products like soap and coffee in the room and it was pretty clean. I’m jealous because I would like to go again, enjoy your stay there.

@@777heaven7 Thanks, I'm going because I am married to a Filipina too and this is the ONLY place she wants to go....I dread thinking about the crowds....for me I like the ocean and the tropics, I hope to go back to the Philippines this winter...take very good care.

Yes my Filipina love it there too, If you’re not on a time frame just enjoy and relax and don’t worry about the crowds. Have a safe trip there
