Oh Zoe, the first winter is always the worst at a new place. You learn where the water lies, what you need to do to improve things and how to make things easier for the humans and more enjoyable for the horses. I hope Lindy manages to get some good sleep out in the field, one of mine does the wobbly thing if the weathers been bad for a few days on the trot. Best of luck

Goed hooi is enorm lastig... Zelf probeer ik van een nieuwe partij hooi eerst voordat ik er veel van koop. Zelfs een keer bij mijn vaste hooi leverancier reageerde de paarden slecht op het hooi... Zag er prima uit maar toch iets niet goed.... Paarden in eigen beheer is leuk, maar soms is het gewoon k*t 🥲 Dan werkt niks, alles kapot en vaak nog in de regen dingen proberen te fixen 🙈

This is so sweet and gives me hope! My rottie has been atacked at 4 or 6 mo old by another dog, that made him super fearful not only of dogs, but his whole surroundings. We've been working hard and while we are far from perfect, we've done huge progress these past months, pheraps when I wean my foal, we could try introducing him again. The first time he was just over threshold and barking non-stop 😅

Hier ook 2 reactieve honden (jack russels...) Hadden bij de paarden een speciaal honden stukje gemaakt. Helaas vinden de honden het niet leuk bij de paarden en de paarden worden druk van het gedrag van de honden... Dus geaccepteerd dat de honden gewoon niet mee kunnen

Waarom heb je gekozen om ze op de manier neer te zetten en niet andersom? Ik bedoel is het niet veiliger om ze om te draaien? Ik zou het ook zo willen doen maar heb ene lomp groot paard en zie het al helemaal gebeuren…. 🙈😅

Have you seen Litzclips? They allow you to have breakpoints in rope and connect two pieces together without knotting the rope. Might be useful 😊

Zo leuk om mee te kijken! Ik heb sinds kort ook een stukje land. Ben heel benieuwd hoe het verder gaat worden. Ik kijk uit naar je volgende video❤

Ik ben heel benieuwd hoe het wordt. Vooral hoe je het hooi gaat opslaan en schuilmogelijkheid. Zelf heb ik een stuk van 7000m2 maar mag geen gebouwen neer zetten. Nu voer ik verpakt hooi omdat een kleed over het hooi niet werkte voor mij (gauw kapot en waaide er gauw af, vooral met storm)

Vind deze video absoluut geweldig! Sowieso de oefening op zich en jouw goede uitleg. Maar dat je paard ook zichzelf mag zijn. En dat perfect niet hoeft. Topper!

It's nice to see someone ride who doesn't have the best confidence and working on their tensions together with the horse <3 I myself isn't the most confident rider and I am constantly trying to improve on it for the sake of my horse and our relationship!
