High Forces

If you're already afraid of flying, Hong Kong/China collab action flick, "High Forces" may not be for you. Good thing we watched it for you and in this episode, we take a deep dive into what worked and what didn't. Was this film starring international superstar Andy Lau a fun filled mindless ride that we enjoyed or an over the top wannabe blockbuster that crashes and burns? Maybe both?
Love In The Big City

This week we discuss the real life drama and controversy that surrounded Korean BL drama “Love in the Big City.” People had their opinions about this show before it was even released, and we breakdown why, in our opinion, it was an overreaction to a show that should be celebrated for its filmmaking instead of demonized by self righteous critics. We also dig deep into each of the relationships i...

So many dramas, so little time... This episode of the podcast, instead of focusing on one series that we've completed, we discuss several dramas we are currently watching and our reactions to them so far. We swoon over the ones we like, bash the ones we don't, and explain how one drama earned the rare distinction of being dropped part way through an episode. This week has a little bit of everyt...

In this special DramaMeans mini Podcast video, tempers flare as we discuss why some shows are ripping us off, and why “The On1y One,” despite stellar acting from Liu Dong Qin (刘冬沁) and Benjamin Tsang (曾向鎮), and cute moments, is nothing more than a studio cash grab. #bldrama #blseries #asiandrama #taiwanesedrama #刘冬沁 #曾向鎮

Recreating the "Sexiest" boba moment in TV drama history
Loved that drama, and loved the book as well. Priest's Stars of Chaos was filmed and never aired... I even bought the board Game Hako Onna because I just loved the matching episode :)
@pascaleaubin-rheaume7719 Yes, it was so good! It's so sad that Winner is King's airing license has expired, so it seems that it'll forever be shelved. Oh, the Hako Onna game looks so good, hopefully it's not as scary as the drama!
Yes, they have such great chemistry!! ❤
Amor eles de mais ❤
You should watch the anime, then you will realize why some of the events or scenes you wished to be cut is RELEVANT to the story. It's a shortened version of the anime/manga. They put different arcs together, that's why some things just dont fit. That's my major gripe of this live action, while there are good action/fight scenes, the story was too rushed.
That is understandable. We totally get that some things are relevant to the source material. Thats why we could only share our thoughts on this as a stand alone. Agree 5 episodes felt very rushed. Hopefully they can have an extended season 2 so they can dig into things deeper
ua-cam.com/video/zoHREX_DHbo/v-deo.html it's the same action director from the Rourouni Kenshin films
@kmz23 the guy is insane talented and done some of our favorites

Love this! I have to go with budmance 😂 hard to rebrand an existing word 😭
Thanks for liking and voting! Yes, I think Bromance is losing the debate 😢. But I think I'm starting to sway too, the biggest reason is because budmance isn't gender specific!
This is great!

Thanks for checking out show and thank you for the tip. We'll be sure to keep that in mind!
