That's a cool puzzle. Man, I miss my weim so much. He passes away almost 2 years ago, at the age 13. I hope to eventually get another weim. They are such great dogs.

Zac loves getting under too but then I can’t fall asleep worrying that he’s not getting enough air!!?? ☹️
My weimaraner rosie stares at you until you lift up the duvet to let her under. It is very freaky though when she does it through the night and you wake up inthe dark to a weimy face only an inch from yours lol
Ours is the same way. Female, too. She doesn't have a pillow, btw. Dogs don't have our kind of shoulders, so pillows are uncomfortable to them... Anyway, she'll stand and stare with her head down by my face until I raise the covers. Then she goes under and circles around to lie down with her head sticking out by our heads. Funny pupper.
