The melody of the synth is especially great! crystal clear and using perfect glides. The entire piece is noteworthy. Can I ask what particular flute sound that is(in even a flute)? Hints on what libraries were used? I am an amateur composer learning as much as I possibly can and this composition far exceeds my own. I love all you do.

To think that, in my opinion, the Mother-series could NEVER have been produced by the current Nintendo company. There's too much experimentation and too many risks - both in a gameplay-sense as well as a legal one. This is what happens with the power of inspiration and well-used sampling - an incredibly innovative, unique and diverse soundtrack for a game with the same traits. Now, Copyright is used and abused to enrich shareholders, greatly stifling creativity - and Nintendo is no better, quite the opposite, they enforce their Copyright whereever seen fit. It really is a testament to this series' quality that it has inspired countless of modern indie games, the genre that I mostly also play these days, since it tends to hold these values true to heart.

I'm surprised that the game soundtrack has a lot of samples from copyrighted media, I wonder if these samples got cleared?
