Shooting a model on film indoors and outdoors

In this video I went back home to Florida and ended up shooting with my friend Kia. I stepped out of my comfort zone and challenged myself by shooting film indoors then after that I took her outside where I was more comfortable. 1,2,3 PERFECT. Said this last time. Love hearing you say it and the models will feel more comfortable and confident knowing you and them are getting it done. Lovely stuff again fella. J
Great video. You had some amazing shots.
Nice work all around!
Box speed or + 1 stops? And what lens do you use?
Dang! This is Art on next LEVEL! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
thanks
Crazy work man! Just subbed. Excited to see more!
These photos are amazing, I'm just getting into photography and is it the camera giving that look or is that edited, also amazing content.
@@nicholaschairez9432 Thanks! It’s the editing, I used both Lightroom and photoshop to get my desired look
nice
Stunning shots. Makes me chuckle you finish every shot with ‘1,2,3 Perfect’ haha. Makes the model feel good tho! Great work. J
@@jamie.dop_ haha! Making these videos made me realize I always use that phrase, might need to put it on a mug lol
Fire content my guy!
💯 🔥
The pics from the third look were my fave! Loved the video, hope your channel blows up soon!
@@amandaf.7593 thank you!
i love the cinematography and the photos
@@treeghost45 thanks 🙏🏿
These are hard🔥
@@coymatocha7013 thanks! ✊🏿
Great work... Overall I liked all your photos, even the ones that were underexposed.
idk how you only got 300 subs
Haha... In due time. I admit I struggle with consistency but I'm working on uploading more regularly.
yo bro I love your videos! I'm pretty new to using my mamiya rb67, but your photos are very much a similar style that I'm striving for. I'm based in the DMV also and always looking for people to connect with who shoot with the mamiya rb67. If you ever need help or could use a set or production assistant lmk!
@@supdwreckk Yo! I appreciate it thanks! Welcome to the rb67 gang! Shoot me a DM on IG I’m always looking to connect with DMV film shooters
what did you shoot this video on?? looks great
@@madhousepictures thanks! I shot on the Blackmagic pocket cinema camera 6k and color graded in Davinci resolve with cineprint35
@@wiseshootsfilm oh nice! I have that exact camera and program. Where can I find cineprint??
@@madhousepictures www.tombolles.net/cineprint35
I'm about to do some shoots on film as well. I would suggest you put your RB67 on a tripod. It's way easier to get your composition and framing.
@@gregshawphotography8828 I’ve been telling myself to get one every time I complete a shoot. Your comment may be the one that actually gets me to buy one lol
Nice shots and video
My Dumba$$ thought this was an add
Dez nuts
One of my favorite portrait videos I've seen on YT
Just wanted to say that I appreciate your videos! Keep it going!!
how are you exposing?? light meter?
Yeah, I used a hand held light meter
We DMV film photographer's definitely need to link up and build on our niche and have some photo walks and so on, subscribed
Yes we need to! Im down send me a DM on IG and we can put something together soon
@@wiseshootsfilm ok got you brother message sent

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I liked your studios more ! Challenge yourself, and definitely do studio because you got such good with poses and mood composition. I am definitely subscribing
Thanks I really appreciate that. I definitely plan on doing more studio shoots in the future
These images look dope fam. Looking forward to seeing what you shoot next.
Thanks!!
beautiful.
These are insanely beautiful! I’m so excited I found your work!
Thank you!! I’ll be sure to put out more content
Your photos and videos are incredible!! So glad I caught on early and get to watch your channel grow!
Thanks, I appreciate that! I’ll be sure to keep posting more content
Didn't realize how much I miss photography till now. These are great images and something about film is just gorgeous. Thanks for sharing. I know who to call when I come back in the DMV
Ever since I started shooting film I cared less and less about digital lol. And fasho hit me up when you're in the DMW
everything in this is beautiful!!
Thanks man!
waiting for the next vid to drop! fire content
Thanks!! Im looking forward to working on the next one
Gotta love portra! The RB is undefeated sheesh!
There's no better duo than the Rb and portra
@@wiseshootsfilm definitely!! I gotta start putting some videos out man. Any tips you got on that front?
I’ve been pretty inconsistent with posting videos myself but I’d say just document your process even if you don’t post that way you start implementing that workflow into your shoots
Clean shots! 👌🏾
Thanks!!
Interesting way of directing the model, and ok images too.
Great photographs, and a underaged film stock. Do you happen to remember you shutter speed for these? All photos came out amazing handheld
Thanks!! And nah I don’t remember what shutter speed I shot these at
Film and iso settings on this shoot? Photos looked amazing, trying to learn.
Man... These were so good! Straight up, amazing photos. Glad I found you! Earned a sub
Thanks man!!
@@wiseshootsfilm What lens were you using, if you don't mind me asking?
This is beautiful! Did you use 16mm or 8mm film to record the video
Dope shoot bro. The shot at 4:35 is 🔥
Just, excellent!!!
They're pretty close though. Each set had the same vibe, or feeling. Technically, digital will trump film. While I shoot both digital and film, I still prefer film..
Great location, very cool portraits the last one was the best for me
This is beautiful. What f stop did you shoot at? I’m always getting a slight blur on my photos with the RB.
I can’t remember but I’m usually between 5.6-11
