    This is Shameful. Root’s was fictional. Alex Haley lied. Honest tribes in Gambia said Kunta Kinta is not real and they’re being paid to continue the lie about Kunta Kinte being a real person. This is a disservice to all aboriginal indigenous Indians. Please do your genealogy and never go through 23andMe. 23andMe have given those who claim to be “black” pets (Animals)DNA the results as being Africans. Shameful that reclassification is still being committed. Being called a African American is a insult. No disrespect to any African tribe but people of the continent renamed Africa don’t call themselves African they use their tribal name. Allowing the word African American to be replaced with the true ethnicity of the original Aboriginal Indigenous people of Americas is highly disrespectful. 2024 is the year for truth and accountability. We we’re already here, and we’re not going anywhere 🪶🏹🦅

      Well, the house means something to other members of the family and his grandparents weren't liars. So I wouldn't take out punishment on a house. He also had to probably make up some things as some people do with Bible stories. Filling in plot holes when there isn't a lot of information.

    Haley was exposed by Thomas Sowell and other black commentators for lying about his ancestry to Kunta Kinte, as it had been proven that Kinte was a fictional character made up in Haley's imagination. A lot of important context was left out of the story. For example, by the 1800s there we thousands of free black slaveholders who also enslaved Africans to work on their plantations, and sold them. Also, it was the African tribes that captured and sold to the Europeans most of the 12 million Africans that were shipped to America. During the time Roots was set it, white Europeans were also being enslaved and shipped to the Ottoman empire North Africa and Asia.

    i'm surprised there was no mention of the trapdoors they had stacked all over. i bought an original 1877 colt lightning storekeepers model that was 2 nd year of production in 1975 for $75.00. i stupidly traded it off. also in 1973 i bought a new colt saa 2 nd edition in .357 mag , i never shot it that way because dixie had colt barrels marked colt frontier six shooter and 44-40 cylinders i had the gun converted to 44-40 to match up with my winchester 73. dixie is a fantastic place .

    Folks, fundamentally the flaw in this video is the assumption of 20inches diameter in 20years... that's not gonna happen. If you plan the tree today, your grand son will appreciate that

    few, if any walnut trees will get to 20" in 30 years. a 20-inch tree would never have enough board feet in it to be worth $10,000, even if it was 4 sides clear veneer. this video is total BS.

    Had u mulched those trees 5:00, your problems would had all been solved. And thtrees would have exploded. Do NOT mulch your trees. Any trees. Ever. Mulch them THICK. And wide. Mulch untill u smother.

  • @WideCutSawmill
    @WideCutSawmill Рік тому

    20 inch diameter in 30 years seems very optimistic. This sounds like something you would do for your kids to retire. If you did it in your 20s and waited 40-50 years and used it for a extra boost in retirement it might work. But it’s mostly for the next generation. Not yourself I don’t think. AND 10k per tree? Not a chance for a tree that small. Couple hundred maybe.

      I agree I know of a man that planted a little over an acre of black walnut trees. I’ve been watching them grow for about 12 years now. They have been pruned just like the video saying but I would guess it’s going to take another 30 years at least for them to be chest size. But if I had more land I would do it for my sons or grandchildren and for fun watching them grow.

    So I have a walnut farmer friend who has 11 acres of English walnuts. The electricity to power the well water to water the trees, paying the pickers, paying for the equipment and paying for everything else to get the walnuts to the wholesaler now costs more than you make. The wholesaler only wants to pay $0.11 per lb now. What can someone do to stay in business to sell their walnuts?
