Ms. Marvel is the exact reason I never understood people's fascination with Superman. Such boring ass characters. For comics I was a fan of Batman (not really him, I loved his villains though) and the various X-men comic books. Favorite of those was actually probably X-Factor due solely to it usually having plenty of humor as well as tragedy.......though I only really bought that series during the Havok, Polaris, Strong Guy, Mulitiple Man and Wolfsbane run. (edit: forgot Quicksilver)

what really is funny to me, is people freakin out even though its not actually an original plot line for a film. There was even a movie staring Roger Dangerfield with a similar plot....even the last scene had him coaching a baseball team that was only made up of guys pretending to be women, and "She's the man" as the more recent example.

This is the kind of comedy we would have seen from Hollywood 15-20 years ago. I went in with low expectations and actually laughed out loud a couple of times. Well done!

This is a beautiful movie that really shows a triumphs story of these tans women. I’m really glad we’re having more films like these that put a spotlight on diverse groups like trans and gender fluid. Great job to the creators of this for standing up for trans women in sports.
