Traffic Queues in Dover 25/05/2024
A quick video to show the traffic queues and the stacking of truck in Operation Tap, this happened every holiday time, no matter if it be a bank holiday, Easter, summer holidays or even Christmas for the booze cruise.
The trucks are always held back from the port so the Joe public and there little terrors don’t have to mingle with the trucks, and once you get into the port it’s always completely void or almost completely void of trucks, so what is the point.
And before anyone starts using the “B Word”, this has been happening every holiday for decades, way before ‘Brexit’ was even thought of, as far back as the late ‘70’s/early’80’s as far as I can remember, and I have had to deal with this for around 25yrs in my experience.
Yes, the queues are long nowadays, but that is solely down to the fact that the other coast ports closed down leaving Dover as the only passenger port and the fact that there is way more traffic/ vehicles on the road now as well as more people heading over the water to Europe for a break.

Cat & Mouse Games with the migrants

Playing the cat and mouse game with the migrants in the AS24 station in Transmarck, next to Calais, France. They think the can distract me with asking for cigarettes and conversation while others try to get up onto the roof of the trailer, after they tried to get in the back doors of the trailer that is, but I spotted them as they entered the bunker station.

this is the return route of the previous video, but does hold a real nice, small, tight, an inch each side tunnel with a right hand bend in it, which the outbound route didn't have, as we went round the hill on the road 😊

He had already tried to get in the back doors of the trailer while I was in the queue for the pumps. But I did see him approach in the mirrors, I put it into reverse and drove back 6 feet, which deterred him from getting in, But it still did stop him from having a go at getting on the roof of the trailer via the back of my cab!!.

Spotted the one behind the bins before he could have a go, he was coiled and ready to pounce!. The one at the main roundabout came from waaayyyy back in the trees against the fence, that boy can run!!.

Xplank the truckers foreman - i think it be a nice guide if you could do a day by day guide for anyone thinking of switching to international driving for any young uns that thinking about it.
That is an option, apart from all the editing I’d have to do each day to get each day’s video down to a manageable & watchable length, plus some days, it’s nothing more that just hours of driving!!. What did you have in mind?.

What do you think about the migrants crossing the channel in boats personally I think the navy should sink them on sight what about you?

Shoot on sight should be the standard policy around the world. I know I wish it was here in the USA. Hundreds of thousands of these "people" coming here illegally every month. Pretty soon the whole country will be known as New Mexico.
The become economy migrants when they leave the first safe country they enter, when aging access to the uk, ether in rubber boats or in the back of trailers, then that is illegal entry, there for they then become illegal migrants.
They should turn them round and escort them back to Calais, or at least, back into French water just like the French escort them out of their waters and into ours
