What is the relevance of the chronology of theories and books in this exam? Why do we need to qualify for the NET/JRF? What is the purpose of this exam? If we are pursuing a PhD, do we really need to know the chronology of these books? Isn't it enough to have conceptual clarity of each topic and knowledge about research rather than focusing on chronology?
