I have seen various female bands from The Donnas to The Lunachicks to L7, & they rock just as hard, (if not, harder ) as the male bands.
From the days of Lesley Gore & Brenda Lee, women have made important strides in the field of Rock.
Women have made great strides in Rock going back to Janis Joplin, Linda Ronstadt, & Suzi Quatro.
If all rock stars were like her, there wouldn't be so much drama coming from them. She is humble & unpretentious. She still looks & sounds as good today as when she first graced the stage.

This lady was a role model to me in the seventies. She was empowered and empowering to many girls and women. It wasn't about being sexy, it was about being your own boss. But there is no doubt that she was sexy. I am happy that she is still around alive and kicking .

Loved LOVED LOVED Suzi Quatro till stumbling' in. Went to see her a few years back and it was all horns and shit. Disappointed and wouldn't go again! All I wanted was a 4 piece rock show. Didn't happen.
