They need a bank account "Under UK law, limited companies are legally obligated to open and maintain a business bank account. This requirement is outlined in the Companies Act 2006 and enforced by Companies House, the government agency responsible for company registration and compliance." Thanks I learnt more about 20% investment for group structures. Now if your group or business stops being a "trading company" you can still claim the Asset Disposal relief up to 3 years after. www.gov.uk/business-asset-disposal-relief
