Good Video but just a few points. Breathing in Water is Aspiration not Inspiration as Stated. Cold Water Immersion and Swimming Therapy has been known about for decades or centuries. people swimming should be aware of the risks though. If people find a benefit to themselves, that is sufficient.

These hallucinations mechanism of the brain approach of making sense of the world is actually remarkable, but with what mechanism are we able to sit down and reason out this process. Like sitting down listening to people like Anil Seth explain how the brain perceives the world around it should take a different process from that of hallucination mechanism. So this other attribute where does it come from, is it still another properties of the brain and mind or what.

From my perspective, human consciousness is outside the human person not inside, and it's in the form of field like all other fields like quantum fields or electromagnetic field. Human brain is a highly organized system that finds a way to steadily interact with this conscious field and lights up the human person. Any system or structure that becomes complex enough will also interact with this conscious field (hence conscious being). This why we should be careful the way we propagate our electric technology.

We are still in the material age. Consciousness being created by the physical brain is the equivalent of the electricity that emits light being created by the lamp.

Being You: A Science of Consciousness Anil Seth Anil Seth's radical new theory of consciousness challenges our understanding of perception and reality, doing for brain science what Dawkins did for evolutionary biology. Consciousness is the great unsolved mystery in our scientific understanding of the brain. Somewhere, somehow, inscribed in the brain is everything that makes you you. But how do we grasp what happens in the brain to turn mere electrical impulses into the vast range of perceptions, thoughts and emotions we feel from moment to moment? Anil Seth, one of Britain's leading neuroscientists, charts the developments in our understanding of consciousness, revealing radical interdisciplinary breakthroughs that must transform the way we think about the self. Drawing on his original research and collaborations with cognitive scientists, neuroscientists, psychiatrists, brain imagers, virtual reality wizards, mathematicians and philosophers, he puts forward an exhilarating new theory about how we experience the world that should encourage us to view ourselves as less apart from and more a part of the rest of nature. Seth's revolutionary framework for consciousness will turn what you thought you knew about yourself on its head.

I have been swiming many many years in cold water (14 - 16 C). The main thing for this practicing is get used to cold. It takes at least 3 days gradualy increasing time of stay in the beging of swing season after ice on the lakes melts. First time it is enough to stay in cold water for 1 minute. The next time after several hours cold shock will be lesser and you can stay for 4 minutes and try swim. The main thing keeping track how your head is reacting to cold. Is it acking? You have to avoid it by increasing time in cold water gradually. I am always listening my body responces and not making anything which makes me feel bad. Thats why better cold water swiming is autumn (not spring). It much more easy extend summer swiming into next season. Enjoy swiming!

So interesting. I wish I could ask Anil Seth questions, for example: icw the checkerboard, when you (I) look through your (my) eyelashes, you see that the two squares are the same colour. I always thought that we see the colour as different because of the effect of the white colour around the square, and vice versa with the other square. This effect is gone when you look through your eyelashes (the squares look the same). I paint, and this is what fine-painters do when observing reality to paint it. The fact that we see the square as darker does not have anything to do with the thought that it is in shadow, so it is not an anticipatory effect of the brain. Or do you mean that the brain (eye-mechanism) is hard-wired for this effect simply because of the darker colour around the white square and vice versa? I still do not see a direct connection with the "shadow"-thought, which I think is what you are putting your emphasis on. ??

The sun's tide-generating force is about half that of the moon. One half times one third is one sixth. Consider what is water. The density of what is the Sun is believed to be about one quarter of that of what is THE EARTH. The diameter of WHAT IS THE MOON is about one quarter of that of what is THE EARTH. The density of the human body is about the same as water. Lava is about three times as dense as water. Pure water is about half as dense as packed sand/wet packed sand. We can multiply one fourth times two thirds in order to ALSO get the surface gravity on the Moon in comparison with what is THE EARTH/ground. The gravity of the Sun upon the Moon is about TWICE that of what is THE EARTH. The lunar crust is about TWICE as thick on the far side of what is the Moon. Notice what is the TRANSLUCENT AND BLUE sky ON BALANCE. The maria (lunar “seas”) do occupy ONE THIRD of the visible near side of what is the Moon. One half times one third is one sixth. What is E=MC2 is taken directly from F=ma, AS TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY AND NECESSARILY proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE); AS the rotation of WHAT IS THE MOON matches the revolution. Consider what is the orange AND setting Sun ON BALANCE. Consider what is THE EYE ON BALANCE. Consider what is the fully illuminated AND setting/WHITE MOON ON BALANCE. What is E=MC2 is dimensionally consistent. The land surface area of what is THE EARTH is 29 percent. This is EXACTLY between (ON BALANCE) what is one third AND what is one fourth. The maria occupy one sixth of what is the Moon. The BULK DENSITY of what is the Moon is comparable to that of (volcanic) basaltic lavas on what is THE EARTH/ground. Consider what are the tides. ONE HALF times one third is one sixth. ONE QUARTER times two thirds is one sixth. What is gravity is, ON BALANCE, an INTERACTION that cannot be shielded or blocked. CLEAR water comes from what is THE EYE (ON BALANCE). GREAT. BALANCE AND completeness go hand in hand. By Frank Martin DiMeglio
