Can I take these apart and flip them to function left handed?
Thanks great info
Can this be used A.R. 15 style shotgun like the VR 80
Listen, you were lil nervous but, you finished well.. informative & direct. Not sure how I managed to not remember I didn't need that retaining pin on this system. Had it in and it caused me problems
Anyone have trouble with the charging handle not moving after install?
Hello! I know I'm a little late but this was an excellent video, thanks for the overview. I never use position one on my adjustable stocks anyway so this is a non-issue to me. Are you still using this product? Also, I liked and subscribed.
Yes, I am still using this product on my 10.5" AR-15 Pistol Build and like it very much. Thanks for the like and sub. We will have new videos released here in the very near future, as well as some giveaways.
@@BallisticSociety That's good to hear. I' just ordered a couple for upcoming builds. thanks for the feedback.
Do you recommend using the srs on a .300 blackout 10.5 and an ar15 10.5 556 build or what other option is available for these two sbr?
Yes, I recommend using the Armaspec SRS in both of your 10.5" SBR's. You'll just use a heavier weight for the .300 blackout. I've been using one in my 10.5" 5.56 AR-15 Pistol Build for quite a while, and I just put one in a 10.5" .300 blackout AR-15 Pistol Build, but haven't tuned the blackout yet.
I've got the smb9 from armaspec. When I threw it in my gun, it felt like it had a super heavy back wall like on a bow and after I pulled the charging handle on my 3rd cycle test, it just felt stuck. Ever had that issue?
Hate to see. Lightning is bad
Is there a way to order the H3 for my 6in Barrel, Blackout Build and the alternative weights also all at the same time? When I get done I want to be ready. Also when I get out of Suppressor Jail, this may change my BCG Cycling also.
Do you need a spacer for the buffer tube?
Nice video. I talked with armaspec, and you shouldn't be running grease or wet lube on that, use try lube like a normal spring system.
Does this work with a Law Tactical Folder?
Whoa. That's really great.
Great video very well done...thanks! Installed one today! Will shoot it later this week.
Nice pistol, but I would remove that shoulder butt plate that really makes it a SBR. JS.
I've always completely greased the inside of the buffer tube, spring, and buffer with white lithium grease. Gets rid of the noise.
Anyone else hate that grease? It was the 1st grease I tried and found that it seems to oxidize quicker than anticipated and necessitates more frequent cleanings. Threw my tube away. Good demo about changing weights. I have several units but never thought about switching the weights. Could come in handy. Thanks
What brace is that?
It is the SB Tactical SBA4 5 Position Adjustable Arm Brace. Sorry for the late response.
Yeah, I would have closed it off a bit after mag 3 to see if she still locked back. Filming with slow motion is helpful as well to see how it ejects and what the bolt is doing.
I've since retuned the gas system and it is closed off a little bit from where it was in the video. Thank you for your input, though. Also, feel free to sub to see some new videos we have coming out soon, as well as some giveaways.
I can say from personal experience, if the threads on your buffer tube aren’t extended, you’ll never get this installed! Unfortunate because it is so cool looking. With some major challenges, I was able to complete the install on one out of three ARs. Very disappointed.
You might have just given me the answer to why I haven’t been able to get mine installed.
You spent how long showing the box ???? What a terrible review
Fantastic demonstration. Thank you!
Will this work with the law tactical collapsible stock?
Ngl this might be the worst installation tutorial I've ever seen.
No special bcg needed?
Short barrel. Dwel time is short. Buffer weight is H2. This is for 5.56/.223 cal.
What's a good set up for an AR-308 I built with mostly Aero Pricision?
Do you think wet lube on the guide rod would attract carbon when shooting suppressed? Just asking.
Yikes. 10.5" doesn't have a lot of dwell time to push a H2 weight.
I wonder if the Blitzkrieg component fluorescent will work in these
There is no deadblow effect to the SRS, which is why i dont use them any more. Eugene Stoner designed the AR with a deadblow buffer system to eliminate bolt bounce. Without moving weight(s) inside the buffer, you risk bolt bounce and that can either cause an out of battery detonation, or a click and no bang. Had an AR 9mm experience an OoBD, and luckily the gun and myself were unharmed, besides my pride and the mag release. I use sprinco springs and standard buffers. Because thats how the rifle was designed to operate. The Kynshot hydraulic buffer is the better alternative to the traditional buffer. Flat wire springs are nice too. Grease can quiet the cheese grater sound. And before anyone says GrEaSe AtTrAcTs DiRt... clean your gun, ding dong. Buffer tubes have a weep hole in the back and carb cleaner exists.
If im doing just a replacement for a regular milspec buffer/spring what size do I need to pick on their website ?
lmao. trying to read off telacomptor
Sooo.... Im an idiot and purchased the srs9 6.4 for my Nato 223/556. Yes, I shot with it installed and liked the recoil and feel supringly without any misfeeds or fte's However the only problem (which led me to the conclusion i purchased the wrong srs) is the bolt would not lock back after last round. Again, Yes i know NOW the srs is made for the 9mm but im not sure i can return to exchange. So with that being said. The only difference i can tell is the black plastic buffer is just an 1/8th of an inch too long which stops the bolt from moving back enough to catch. Would running that weight with that spring configuration damage the rifle if i corrected the length of said buffer? Or is it mainly the length of the buffers that makes them different? Opinions or suggestions? Let the roast begin!🤦🏼♂️
The length should be the same it's the weight that is different. Can you manually lock the bolt back with the charging handle? If so then it's not the length but the weight is too much for the gas to push it back enough to catch.
I really like the gen 4s. Just hving that single heavy roll pin at the top and having no other failure points is great
Nice job bro! It's really about time someone performs a tutorial with al the unneccesary table talk. I just got an education on a product that I will be getting for my 7.5 Epic Build. Thanks buddy!

What do I use to remove one of these?
I used an adjustable spanner wrench to install it. Hope that helps. If it does, I encourage you to follow and subscribe to be up to date when we release new content, which we have in the works. Thanks and take care.
Looks like I'm going to have to switch from JP
The most complete Magpul MBUS Pro Offset Sights review I've seen. Thank You
Thank you so much. I've been out of the game for a little bit due to health issues but have some new content currently in works. So, I encourage you to subscribe so you'll be up to date when we release new content.
Which buffer for a 16" barrel (carbine length gas tube) suppressed?
I would recommend getting their new Gen 4 version of this Armaspec SRS. It gives you different weights so you can try a few to find the perfect weight. Hope that helps. If it does, I encourage you to follow and subscribe to the channel so you'll be up to date when we release new content, which is on the way. Thanks and take care.
Your ejection pattern on the last round fired was at 1:00 You're overpassed. You might want to dial it back a quarter or half turn.
I've since retuned the gas system, but thank you for your observation.
Awesome cant see anything. Amazing video quality.
I would like to know from your experience if Armaspec SRS is compatible with Sylvan arms 4 gen fold adapter in traditional AR15 with 16' barrel and if YES , what weight C or H will you install?
I can't say for curtain 100% that this will work with the Sylvan Arms Gen 4 Folding Stock/Arm Brace Adapter but from what I can see I don't see why it would not. I would recommend getting there Gen 4 if you haven't already purchased one that way you have the "C", "H", and "H2" weights already in the package to easily adust it, and right now they have a father's day sale going on where you can get the Gen 4 Kit for only $3.00 more than the Gen 3 Kit. Use code "fathersdaysrskit" at checkout and receive 20% off. Think about subbing up since we have some new stuff coming out shortly, and thanks for the comment!
I have a 16 inch barrel on my AR 15. I’m wondering if I purchased the wrong way I just ordered last night from Opticsplanet the carbine weight! Will this be too light?
Have you had a chance to try this out yet? Sorry for the late response.
@@BallisticSociety not yet:(
Thank you for the video
Thank you. Don't think I'd trust the buttons to stay on.
You would be surprised. I haven't had a single one fall off either while shooting or any other time for that matter. In fact, it's still on my AR-15 pistol from the video, and it gets worked go at the range. I also understand that it's not for everyone. Take care.
grease is a huge dirt attractor.....
Thanks man. Think about subbing up since we have some new stuff coming out shortly, and thanks for the comment.
Yep...way to much grease to attract carbon and debris, especially if you're using a suppressor.
Thank you for the review. I have two sets of these sights, and I have a problem I can't turn the front sight to adjust it on one of the sets. I haven't tried the other one yet. Knowing how it is supposed to work is a big help. Again, thank you for the review.
You're welcome. I'm glad this was of some help to someone else out there. I encourage you to subscribe to our channel and follow us on Instagram to be sure to be up to date with the latest videos we put out. We have a few in the works as of now. Take care.
