@@fandechavalones3022 if you are mechanically inclined and don't have any problems dealing with these issues, then I say go for it. If you're not mechanically inclined, I would suggest bringing a friend over who is to give the car a good checking over, or arrange with the owner to take it to a shop that you trust and have them go through it.

Depends on the year, mileage, condition and who you know. Based on what I have seen at my local car lots, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, etc, decent older runners appear around the 5 to 10K mark. Your experience could vary.

In my opinion (and quite a few others would agree) Ford could build some of the most durable and reliable engines to ever power vehicles. Some would be quick to point out that some just broke down or blew up, but in the grand scheme of things I believe that's a small percentage compared to the great numbers manufactured.

Although it might look similar to the N20B20 twin-scroll turbocharged inline four cylinder, the engine in this BMW is the N52B25, a naturally aspirated inline six. After reviewing the video myself, I can see where one might think it's a four banger because of how far back the engine sits and the limited exposure of the rear intake runners (4 can be clearly seen, the 5th appears very briefly).

That makes sense. I’m looking at buying one on the weekend. 2011 323i and my son looked it up and told me it was a 4 then I saw 4 on this video. But there is no 4. Hmmm. I can get it for $1500 Canadian, apparently only needs rear control arms. Right.

I will. Although my mechanic just warned me to stay clear of it. Said that particular model is very cheap and unreliable. I don’t always listen to him though. Probably should but I don’t.

After making the video, I went back to the dealer to inquire why my coolant system was flushed twice. Not only did they give me a refund for one of them, but the next one is free. It turned out to be some sort of record entry error.

@@behindthewheelexperience I'm starting to understand why the Kia dealers' rating is so low, but yours seems to be good...at least for reimbursement but again, you have to keep an eye on them.

@@cabaneencac5168 Definitely a learning experience on my part, I should be keeping a closer eye on the invoices for the work being done and not putting implicit trust into what the dealer is doing to my car.
