The DS.2 is ready and has been going through test flights with a basic test setup. It is running a 4035 motor which is oversized for this heli and it is lower kv than required so max RPM is 1700. This will be the proof test setup and the right motor and upgraded setup will be fitted. It is running on a Matek G474-HLITE and RF2 with a RM Rx.

This is a 3D CAD view of the DS.2 RC Helicopter. It is a 570 size heli which is made entirely of carbon and 3D printed parts, except for the shafts. Watch this space for the fully built heli and flying videos.

Test fit assembly of a custom carbon and 3D printed frame for LOGO 600 RC helicopters. The carbon frames were the V1 from a previous LOGO 600 carbon-alu frame project. Decided to make a frame with no CNC parts (just the stock motor plate). All parts fit perfectly. All 3D printed parts are MJF which gives good tolerances and basically isotropic behaviour. Next step is to build the heli around it...
