Hazel continues to stir re: Caroline and Brian's affair. Nelson changes his mind about Hazel and heads her off at the pass with Walter.

The Archers Omnibus 29th September 1985 It's the day of the wedding at last! Subversively it goes smoothly. Dan and Joe aren't going on the over-60's trip. Walter is, but he's less keen when Mrs Antrobus takes charge. Mr Snowy is sent away. Brian sorts out the squatters. Hazel wants to make a promo-video for Grey Gables.

The Archers Omnibus 16th December 1979 Jack welcomes Caroline to Grey Gables. Nelson has returned to Borchester. There's a holly theft. A sing-a-long is had at The Bull. Nelson wakes up in the same room as Mrs P, but it is Mrs P who is the most disturbed by the encounter.
Brilliant to hear this - I was only reading one of Joanna Toye's books on 'The Archers' earlier this week and it included this storyline.
Captain Woolley, I'm hugely enjoying these Archers recordings that I've come across. Thank you so much. I've listened to The Archers since the late 1950s! I wonder if you know of one that includes the original Lilian Archer/ then Nick's wife/ then Ralph Bellamy's wife? I remember she had a lovely distinctive voice, but I cannot find a recording of her anywhere.
