Galaxy S10+ Salt Water ocean test

Submerged the S10 in salt water to see if it's IP rating was accurate in the ocean. The phone is naked with no case or protection whatsoever. This was filmed in San Andrés Colombia.

Galapagos islands by drone 2016
Переглядів 7 тис.8 років тому
I took my Autel Robotics drone to the Galapagos islands. Footage is from Santa Cruz island, Isabella island, and El Panecillo in Quito.
I just did it but I only put my front camera in
Cuesta encontrar buenas tomas en Galápagos, esta es la mejor. Una pregunta por que no hay ni una sola persona en el mar nadando, es muy poco común viendo que hay tantos botes, es peligroso o muy frio?
It's a nice way to use a water resistant phone but stupid way to do nothing after it dried out. About 2 years ago I was using SONY XZ Premium, a water resistant phone either and I put it under the sea water of Maldives to get some shot. And I've got a bottle of tap water to wash it when it comes out of sea water, till today it still performance pretty good and charge port isn't go glitchy. Cuz sea water it includes "Salt",salt will corrode charge port and headphone jack also the speaker,so make use wash the phone after it touches sea water.
But can you tell me Samsung note 10 waterproof in saltwater
If you submerge it in saltwater, and then rinse it with water from a sink, would it work? Or is it not worth it to put it in saltwater at all.
That might be OK. I would just recommend finding a silicon or rubber plug to put inside the charge port. That would prevent any corrosion.
I have an S10+ and the charger doesn't work after I used the phone 30 secs under seawater! The phone and the charger jack are completely dry but after 5 days it still keeps messaging to make it dry while I'm trying to charge the battery! Any advice?
Rinse it with fresh water then Take a hair dryer and blow it for a solid 3 minutes.
I bet his phone died after this test...
Уже сломался или работает?
For Samsung S10e, S10, S10+ users, Don't submerge your phone in Salt Water it could damage your phone. It only works on Fresh Water. 😉
Was there salt in the phoneholes after it dryied?
Yes, the speaker now rattles at over 50 percent volume and sometimes it does not charge correctly.
@@ChrisWilliams-nh5qy oh no. I dont wanna test it out 😬
@@ChrisWilliams-nh5qy dunk it in some regular water
Galapagos is so unique huh!! I took a trip there myself a while back and loved it. Would be cool to see if you thought mine was any good! :D
I believe, you can only submerged a fully Naked Samsung Galaxy S10. in a "Nude Beach" according to the San Andres beach rules & safety.🤓🤓🤓
It is almost like an ocean of trees :)
Galapagos, Thailand, Grand Canyon....... New Tripoli???? :$
Another great video!!! good job, can't wait for the next one

GALAPAGOS PATRIMONIO DE LA HUMANIDAD POR SU FLORA Y FAUNA ......GENIAL...VIVA ECUADOR.
Wow, amazing video can you please provide some info about the "ladyboys" (prices and fees). Thank you
damdikx, of course. The average rate for the ladyboy is around 800 baht. But there are also ladyboy "premium packages" offered for about 4000 baht.
hello! any advice for getting drones into the islands? is there a fee or something? thanks!
J Flag, hello! there is no fee to bring the drone. I packed mine in a drone backpack and they opened it to inspect it while arriving in Baltra and they let me pass. you just have to be aware not to fly in protected areas. Hope this helps!
Wonderful. This really helps as we are bringing in two drones tomorrow!
Did you have any issues? I want to bring my p4p for some aerial photos
No we didn't. We got them in without problem, but flying them wasn't easy. San Cristobal was the easiest since they didn't really care. In Santa Cruz it's only allowed within the city. We may have flown early in the morning in other places but that is not recommended. Isabela is the hardest since we were told that it would most likely be confiscated at least. The shots are gorgeous though ;)
Big thanks for the fast reply. I was looking for some aerial photo angles. Hope the weather plays along. What was your favorite location?
Did you have trouble flying the drone on the island? thanks!
Miguel Alvial, yes there were multiple times I was politely reminded that drone flight was not permitted in the area. There were only a few places where I was allowed to fly freely.
