I can’t speak to dogs or other animals because I’ve only raised a litter of kittens, but I know for sure that cats have a special bond between mom and babies. The cat we took in got pregnant before we could get her fixed, and she was obsessed with her babies. I’ve still never seen her that happy. We found a home for one baby and she left at 8 weeks, the other three stayed home with mom. I didn’t want to give them away to strangers. Mom nursed her babies until they were as big as she was. She’s a small cat. They all had a very tight bond. Mom got spayed and got to go back outside some. At some point the baby who left came back to visit while my friend was out of town, and that changed everything. I don’t know why or how. But mom and babies saw her as a stranger. It had been maybe 6 months since she left. For some reason mom saw her, and turned on the other three too. Now she refuses to come inside. She doesn’t want anything to do with them. They miss and love their mom so much, they don’t understand. They see her through the window or door and get excited. Mom hisses. I hate it. All because stranger baby came back to visit. 😢

If I be there I am going to adopt both cats❤

No that’s not the momma! a momma cat is very protective of its young. They will slowly bring them out, but they will stay around them. This definitely does not look like a mama cat to me. I know I’ve raised and took care of too many on the streets.
