Peter's First Flight Experience And First Time Flying An Airplane!
Peter W is a local boy who works during the summer and saves his money. He bid on an airplane flight for our Church auction and won it. He has never flown in any kind of aircraft. It was my honor to take him flying in the TimberFox around the Coast and Mountains of the Northwest. It was a beautiful another day to enjoy God's Creation.
God bless you all. Please pray for our country and the world. Feels like we need it more than ever!

My old flight instructor came up to Northern California to fly the Kitfox into the Backcountry. This was Matt's first time seeing the Redwoods. He is building a Kitfox Model 7. We flew south to explore the Humboldt Redwood State Park. These Redwoods range from 500 to 2200 years old and heights over 350 feet. God bless you all. Please pray for our country and the world. One of the greatest joys of flight is the ability to share it with all. God bless you all. Please pray for our country and the world. First Kitfox Riverbar Landing And A Tip To Save Your Airplane When Landing!

My first solo riverbar landing on the Eel River. This is what flying was made for! Enjoying God's creation from a birds point of view. The bridge I Ianded by is the longest functional poured concrete bridge in operation in the world and is known as the 'Queen of Bridges' in California. A special thanks to @KitfoxPilot for teaching me about riverbar landings as well as better Kitfox piloting! Go...
Timber Falling Heaven - Hard Work Above The Clouds

Working in the sky is not just for pilots! All honor and Glory goes to The Lord Our God. I was blessed to fall some timber at one of the most beautiful places on God's Green Earth. Cutting Douglas Fir for timber production. High quality lumber for high quality homes. Running a Stihl 460 and a Stihl 462. Thinning the forest for lumber production is an excellent way to manage timberland and preve...
Adding an exhaust port to increase saw power?
Переглядів 1,6 тис.5 місяців тому
Does adding a second exhaust port increase power? In this video I cut the same log with the same saw, twice. First with a stock setup and then with a WestCoast Saw Barkbox (second exhaust port). The result was a 12.4% increase in cutting power! I have seen this on other videos but it is cool to test and verify it myself. Check out WestCoast Saw and there products: westcoastsaw.com/products/661-...

Just a summers worth of work felling Redwood and Douglas-Fir in the great state of California. Thanks for all of the support! Music: "The Unforgiven" Metallica "Dani California" Red Hot Chili Peppers
Hey Tyler, great video. I was shocked to see you have less than 1k subs. Hang in there it won't take long with your talent and great music. Subbed and liked.
By the way, great drone shots and God Bless!
@MaxProductionsTV That means a lot! I appreciate the words of encouragement! God bless you too, and Merry Christmas!

Do you need state park permission to land the airplane in the river bed? I cruised in Klamath river once and saw quite several landing spots, was thinking if park would allow landing there☺️
It is illegal to land in a state park. No permit needed to land on riverbar though. Land owners permission (if landing on private property) is needed. We hiked in from this bar. You're right though, so many good landing spots that are unlandable due to state law! 😫
Tyler, you are just great for giving your friend the opportunity to feel all the emotions of the first flight. Keep going. My support for the channel
@@fighterbomberMiG27 Thank you! I feel that having the privilege to fly also gives me the responsibility and opportunity to share it with all those who don't have the ability.
Where did you find the 1” ram balls that go small enough to attach your sunvisors to the small tubing?
@Kitfoxj Actually they have spacers on the inside to step down the diameter, or else they don't fit (as you are probably aware of). So I have a spacer and then a silicone 'grip' strap to keep it from rotating
Congratulations Peter! Great video too!
How cool was that? Forgive me Lord, but I might be a little jealous. Not only a first ride but a first ride in a hot rod Kitfox. Thank you Tyler for donating that! A flight Peter will never forget.
@@stevet8121 Don't worry, we will get you up the air someday in the near future!
That is awesome! Great teacher, keep it up Tyler! ❤
Awesome video!
Beautiful. Between yours and Harlan’s videos, I am loving the Kitfox. But with an 18 month backlog, it is such a reach. I am 69 so am counting each day a blessing. Praying that God leads me in the right direction as to weather or not I should begin this journey at this stage of my life. You and Harlan are great inspiration. I am amazed to be meeting so many Christ followers since I became interested in aviation. By the way, could you please share what engine you choose? I saw in the build vid that it was a Rotax but which one? And keep the videos coming! I will keep you and your family in my prayers!
Thanks again for your kind comments. Harlan is an inspiration to all! May you continue to walk with God both in your life and aviation. I used the Rotax 912ULS (carb version). I've enjoyed it so far except for balancing the carbs was a little less than enjoyable haha I hope you enjoy whatever type of aircraft you choose. Thank you for your prayers. God bless you!
great experience
Great videos! Thank you. I want to build a plane and am considering Kitfox, Highlander and Rans S-21 Outbound. Can you explain why you went with Kitfox, vs another model?
Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to check them out.. To be honest, I really liked the empennage shape of the Kitfox, the unique curved bottom and 'Mustang' style tail really appealed to me. On top of that, the Kitfox has a higher cruise speed than the highlander (maybe the Rans as well?). Stall speed may be higher in the Kitfox, but I am not trying any Steve Henry kind of stunts.. Altogether they are all good aircraft. Go with something that meets your mission and appeals to your taste!
@@TylerRegli thank you so much for your reply. I really like the Kitfox but upon inquiry, they are 18 months out with kit delivery. Rans is about 6 months. The cruize on the Rans is faster but they do not have the folding wings. There is a big shortage of hanger space here in Waco so I really like the folding wings option...Keep up the good work with your videos and stay safe! God bless
Great video! God bless! Congratulations!
So our Pal Ray bought a Kitfox and we have concerns as to how his flying plans will play out, he's never flown and has built a runway and plans to take to the air next year ...Fingers crossed Thanks for sharing your adventure🙏
Wow, that is ambition. The Kitfox is definitely not a 'Get in and go' kind of aircraft. I would highly recommend he train in another kitfox or similar TW aircraft. Best of luck to your pal!
@@TylerRegli Sound advice Thank you
Outstanding. I'm glad many are preserved in National, State, County, and City Parks.
That's where I want to go when I come out that way!
You bet! Huge riverbars, vast wilderness, and thick ocean air make for some of the best flying in the kitfox!
Beautiful video. I was working for Simpson Timber Company when they were logging old growth Redwood back in the 60's and 70's. I wonder if you're the first one to ever land on that sandbar. South Fork? Camp Grant? I love the message you include with your videos. Keep doing that, please.
@stevet8121 Thanks for the comment! So cool. It is crazy how big these trees can get, and how fast too. Alot of people can't tell the difference between an old growth and 100 year second growth.. this is south fork, north of the bridge. And thank you, all Glory goes to God!
I think this is the first time I’ve seen dom run
It would be really cool if one of you jumped off the bridge👌👌👌
Another awesome video Tyler! The little one is getting big! They grow way to quick.
Thanks man! They sure do! Greatest gift ever!
Great video! The footage of the trees coupled with the music was pretty cool! 😀
Thank you sir! Much appreciated!
Those trees are unbelievable. 🤯 Taylor’s right, the drone shots are 🔥🔥🔥So is little E ❤️ Fantastic job again T Reg!
Thanks! Big E is the star! Haha
Awesome video with great footage!
Those drone shots🔥 and that baby🥰
🌳 2:05 - Watching a big tree like this sugar pine fall is both powerful and fascinating. Incredible job capturing the whole process! 👍
Surprise surprise from mt Shasta 🌲 🪓
Please tell me nothing bad happened to Jack " hotsaws 101" . Thanks for your time
It's is the coolest job, but it an also be a love and hate relationship job,,allso a pretty dangerous and hard on the body, gotta get fit quick, and mega aware of your surroundings from the you step in and start to minute you step out, when I first started as a commercial cutter I remember the aches and pains everywhere for at least the first 3 month then everything started to ease off...now retired but still miss it....
Yessir, dont get to much better
What a privilege to get to fly your grandmother. I never got to take either of mine but I sure would have loved to. God bless you both!
This is awesome Tyler! Really fun to watch.
Thanks, Jason! Still need to get our planes together one of these weekends!
@@TylerRegli Yes we do!
What an awesome way to start my day! ❤ Thank you for sharing. Happy she had such a great experience!
Thanks Mark. I agree! I was nervous she would be uncomfortable or wouldn't like it, but she definitely enjoyed it!
So awesome man! Grandma is a lot more fearless then I was haha. Kicking myself for not taking the opportunity to go flying in the Kitfox! Keep up the awesome videos man, we all enjoy watching them.
Thanks Nick! Don't worry, you will get another opportunity to go!😆 I appreciate the support and feedback!
Nice Tyler!! Making it look easy. Can't wait to come down and fly with you.
Thanks! I had plenty of help from other Kitfox pilots... lots of good people out there willing to help!
That is awesome Tyler ! Thanks for sharing 😀
Thanks John! Miss all you guys out there!
This is an "Awesome" video! I smiled watching the whole thing 😊 Nice job!
Thanks Rachelle! Now just got to get the rest of the fam up! haha
This made me smile too. I've lived in Eureka since 1950 so it's fun to see how some of it looks from the air. TimberFox is a great name and hope to see more!
Thanks, Steve! Much appreciated! I could only imagine how seeing something from the air looks like after living there for 70+ years! Thanks for the kind comments!
To quote your grandma, “AWESOME” video. She looked like she really enjoyed her flight and seeing Ferndale from a new perspective. Good job buddy!❤️
Yes we love it !!!
1:03 The video captures stunning views and hard work perfectly! 👍
Loved the video and how you give credit to our wonderful creator. I thank him every time I fly my little plane.
DON'T fly under the bridge!! 8.50 nice choice, big enough for most strips/sandbars...remember babysteps first god bless
Bad ass video. I fell timber 25 years syskiyo county. Run for ur life. And glory to God is spot on
Great video man!
Thanks for watching Nick! Ready to go flying yet?? haha
Now you've hooked! Great job, most fun I've had in an airplane. Hope to get out there and ride along someday! Nice solid looking rock bars for sure.
That's an understatement! Looking forward to having you out here someday and doing some flying.
Woohoo! Great job, Tyler! Looks like such a beautiful area. Thank you for sharing. Can’t wait to make it out west in the future.
Thanks Mark! I can't wait to fly along you out here and in Montana! I hope to take the Timberfox out to Maine someday, especially for Fall!
I notice you didn't go whale watching on this flight. How come ?? 🤣
If there is anything Jonah taught me, it is to stay away from whales... 👀🐳
😂😂😂
Next video recommendation: flying under Fernbridge 😉 Nice job!
Lol "and for my last video...."
Congratulations on your first river bar landing. That appears to be the location of the old Singley fishing hole from back in the day. I caught a lot of salmon and steelhead there.
Thank you! I believe you are correct. It is crazy how much the river has changed though... Where I landed use to be the river, and where the river is used to be farm land.
God bless u brother ,stay safe
