Phoenix Rising - Calum Graham (LIVE Fingerstyle Guitar Cover)
On September 30th 2024, I had the chance to perform "Phoenix Rising" by the amazing guitarist Calum Graham live on stage! It’s a really nice but also not easy song that really entertains and amazes the audience, and I’ve always wanted to play it live 🎶
I also added the intro that Calum played during his Candyrat Records livestream, to make the performance a little extra special! (You can find it here: ua-cam.com/video/43Kkg0_lWt4/v-deo.html)
Just before going on stage, my G string broke! 😅 Luckily, I replaced it quickly. Even though the performance wasn’t perfect, I loved every second of playing this song live and I hope you’ll enjoy it too!

She's been practicing this for weeks or even months, I think. That's the only reason she did it perfectly. When you put it into practice, memorizing does not really be apart of the journey. It's great tho if you have a great memory

@@henglaysou4266 To be honest, this song isn’t actually that difficult to play, so it took me about three days to learn it. However, that’s only possible thanks to consistent dedication, hard work, and focused practice. Years of practicing this style have definitely made it easier for me to learn songs more quickly and accurately. And I also think that its very helpful to have a great memory, but I believe it’s more about how efficiently you practice than relying just on your great memory haha. But in the end, the most important thing is passion, having fun and to love creating music :)

Originally the tuning is C# G# D# F G# D#, but for his 10th anniversary version he changed the tuning. He is playing it one half step down. That’s what I did in the video as well :)
