I was 7 December 8th 1980. I was up with strep throat watching Monday Night Football with Dad . The NE Patriots where playing... Howard Cosell announced the news over the game . I will never forget intentionally watching the news the next few days,watching people outside the Dakota... Even 47yrs later I will never forget it . Nice Job . Beautifully done.. The last picture shown was taken Dec 8th by Annie Liebowitz for Rolling Stone ..

I honestly wish that i had not ever discovered this song. It just opens the heart on a rather unhappy period of life when a beautiful, but troubled soul was there as a beacon for us all and was suddenly taken away. Thank you David for such a truly beautiful tribute. Much love.
