I just picked up a Mesa Dual Rectifier 2x12 Maverick! Sounds great!

Amazing sound.

Great demo of a great pedal - mine is always on my board. Fine playing, too.

This model was my first Gretsch, bought at age 18. It had a very distinct smell; how I miss it.

IN MY 50 SOME YEARS I have loved the looks of this guitar. It would sound awesome , how ever every on I come across has been( FIXEDUP) or another " F WORD IF YOU could think of one !!! The only time I played one it was new at the guitar shop in Milwaukee,WI. around 1970 or1971. just came back to the world!!!! I did not have the funds so i'ts a memory !!! Always wanted one.

Little harsh for my liking

I got one back in the 2000's because of The Strokes, it was my first pedal! I'm feeling nostalgic and need another one.

Paired with two iconic pedals that would have sounded killer with the mayer yet you didn't give us a demo with the bass balls or the mutron.. sad..

Legends!! Bob could make a 2x4 sound good and J is the amp/circuit king! Took my Vintage Tube Amp from mediocre to Magic, great shop and great humans.

This sounds excellent. Every other demo I see though for this amp, it is way too bright.

I picked one up about 2 years ago, an '82 with two Celestions. It started to get noisy, so I recapped the whole thing with FT's and JJ tubes and that brought it back to life. Quiet, loud and strong reverb. But, there is very little gain and the mid-boost pot is all or none. The pots seem to be okay. Any suggestions as to what is causing it? I was thinking bad resistors?

N is a sweeping notch filter. Subtle but very nice if dialled in correctly. A /bit/ like an envelope following Phaser.

I have the exact one!!!! I need to replace the four position(lp/bp/hp/n) switch tho... where can I get an NOS replacement?

I had one... I bought it brand new in 1979... great guitar! but I couldn't get used to the jumbo frets... ended up buying a 1977 Gibson SG standard and I still have it

The run was actually closer to a thousand because that is the maximum they could sell before Gretch could sue them for their Broadcaster Drums. I hear the 869 number here and there, but mine is #914 and many in the 900s are registered on the guitarsbyleo website. But that's not important. It's got a beautiful sound and a spanky grittiness. Carl Perkins got one and it stayed with him to the end.
