I personally use the roccat kone pro air, it has 22 hour battery life and can be plugged in. Once you update the mouse, pair it with the software, update the software and that stuff, you *can* update the mouse, but it won’t do so automatically.

I used tazer mice for a handful of years and had my own set of issues. I’d recommend Corsair for almost any accessory for the pc!

I would like to address the matter of the single-colored painting, because my bass guitar teacher actually said something recently that changed my perspective on the subject: the fact that makes it art is that it is deliberate. To explain that a bit: when a toddler makes a painting that is just a square canvas covered in one color, it is not art because the toddler only did it because he/she had no other options at their disposal. But an artist who can create landscapes, atmospheres and/or portraits with various techniques at will, who has a huge range of options to choose from - if that artist chooses to cover a square canvas in one color, it is deliberate. Not just the deliberate choice of the subject matter or the deliberate omission of all other things they could have done, but also the deliberate brush strokes: what size brush is used, what direction are the strokes in, how long are the strokes, are they uniform in direction and length or not, etc. Perhaps that is also considered context, but it is a context that does not rely on other paintings, but on who the artist is and what the beholder knows about them. And either way, the brush strokes, their length and their direction are also sources of contrast, I think, so your point definitely stands 🙂
