love world but now that i'm playing rise, i can see what people mean. it's like every other monster was just another damn reptile

i feel like wilds is the perfect game for Gammoth, since she now has the actual space to move. As for her fight being to easy...i mean yeah, but there a lot of monster who got an updated fight, so why not gammoth too. As for the whole Fated four stuf.....honestly i dont care. It's not like any of the other 3 are ever gonna be on the same map as gammoth, so none of them are ever gonna interact with her anyway. But if it really is that important to people, I'd say bring Gammoth back now and bring back the other 3 in the expansion. This would be a way to have our cake and eat it too. It would bring her back now and have them all be in the same game. I also think it's a bt unfair to Gammoth fans to say "oh it's ok for the other 3 to be brought back on their own, but gammoth has to wait because she shouldn't be brought back on her own"

8:37 Seriously tryna figure out why people get upset at the OP endgame gear. It's endgame. We spent $100+ and 1000+ hours on the game and expansion. I think we deserve powerful stuff at the end. Imagine a game where you have to struggle even AFTER you beat it. That sounds like actual dogshit

I hope we get great jaggi again soon. I want them to make him more unique in his tactics though. Honestly I want that for every drome/great monster. I'd love to see a world where pretty much every pack operates differently with their fighting tactics. Gaggi is the best in theory/most missed potential for this. He has 2 distinct followers there are very notable differences between his female and lessor male minions. What I would want is for him summoning verying groups of mixed male/female ratios to matter more. Give the males and females different behaviors in response to the same calls so you can either have a squad following the same of these 2 orders or some doing 1 behavior and the rest doing the other one. Give him like at least 2 or 3 of these for 4 to 6 tactics and that would be perfect. We do have congalala and his congas so we could have great jaggi and his 2 minion types. If he's not in Wilds, I hope my vision for him comes true in the next portable game. I like macao and izuchi but great jaggi needs a turn. The Japanese stream of the 20th anniversary poll went in more detail for the top spots, with a region breakdown, and abyssal got hard carried by Japan. Not normal lagi though. Balahara proves that the skeleton issues for lagi and the other leviathans like him, with shorter legs, are fixed. They said as much in an interview with Rage Gaming. I would love to see lagi in like gen 7, if they do underwater combat then, but I won't mind seeing him in Wilds. We have to see agnaktor though guys, come on. No way he wasn't replaced by lavasioth ,as the apex of the elder's recess, when they gave up on making the skeleton work in MT Framework. Only way dire miralis works without underwater is making his water phases work on boats and I'm not sure we want that, even if it could work. Ceadeus and gobul can only function underwater. It you want a nice end boss for the last title update there are more to choose form, like gogmazios. I do agree that the fatalis armor was a bit much. I just really don't want them to be lazy and use crimson or old fatalis as the final fight, so it's not just a fatalis rework again for the next 2 main titles. A new black dragon would also be nice, since it's been a while since 3rd gen added 2, but they don't have to. I wouldn't mind nerscylla in Wilds. Another spider would be nice and could make for some nice turf wars. I however don't want to see shouded ever again, at least not without a massive rework that replaces either it's home or its wardrobe. Otherwise, keep that nonsensical bastard in the memory hole. It lives in the desert but relies on a swap/cave/tundra dweller for food and clothing, while also using a more OP version of Doflamingo's devil fruit from One Piece. Yeah, the expansion would work. I understand wanting the fated four to be together again but what's stopping Wilds from having all 4? Either in the game or the expansion. My hope is, when they return, the remaining 3 get subspeceis because acidic was a fun twist on the original and, nope, violet does not count. First rare speceis without a subspeceis and what a disappointment it was, for the one to break that trend. Velkhana can take a break, let it be this stupid child, that insists on being the only maker of walls, somewhere else for a game or 2.

Summoning 2 monsters was a trait of the subspeceis crimson qurupeco but I would love it if that one got give to the original and we simply had; the harder monster list, the thunder element, and the flash move as crimson's main changes. Imagine it summoning a herd of monsters like doshaguma or the recently revealed flock of yian kut ku. Him just summoning monsters from the map to a location to insight turf wars and fly off. Or buffing 2 other monster species in a zone, where maybe one of them or both have a herd to be buffed, would be utter chaos and I"m all for it. I would love to see duramboros, he's the only base monster brute wyvern that wasn't in 5th gen at all.Sadly the layout of the scarlet forest, with all its pathways and few mid sized zones don't look like they'd fit him well. I hope I"m wrong and the fact that these maps are roughly double the size means that those few bigger zones will fit him and he will at least be able to traverse the pathways. My vision for a returning duramborso may not happen but I still want him to come back in Wilds. My hope was for a mix of dense forest and some clearings where he would spin and knock over threes that would work as hazards to expend the reach of his attacks as trees fall on you from his spinning. I love the idea he mentions about duramberos flying in on you. I imagine him jumping zones like that, I hope that happens but maybe it's too silly so we'll get that feature in a portable game. I still want this beast in Wilds, even if he doesn't have these ideas I mention in game yet. I really hope we get zamtrios and gammoth in Wilds' ice map. Both would fit so well. Hell, add gigginox too. Imagine gammoth or other large monsters bieng swarmed by zamites or giggies as they try to drink their blood and flop about on them. Giggies also inflicting poison as a thank you for the drink. We haven't seen gigginox since MH3/3U. Najarala has to happen, we need a new snake wyvern to join him. My hope was the flagship would be a snake but that's not happening. Even if we don't get a new snake, I want to see this guy and his subspecies in Wilds so badly. Justice for desert seltas, he did not deserve his place in the hunter's choice poll. I would love to see these 4 monsters back in Wilds or even the next portable/Rise team game.

It really is looking like its shaping up to be incredible. Also performance was much smoother in this build of the game

Its amazing to see how many monsters did I miss by A) Never finishing the old games I own - Freedom, Freedom 2 and Freedom Unite B) Never owning anything from the third and fourth gen since I didnt have DS at the time or a WII. Definitelly would be cool to see some of them return.

I saw ONE new attack. The double stab from above. That's it. Absolutely nothing remarkable and even worse, the attack speed looks absolutely terribly slow and painful to watch. It's 'just' a trailer people would say, but all other trailers were much more interesting.

Tbh i hope its a decent middleground, paintballs were horrible, and basically the rise owl with extra steps, i think grinding for hours just to get to the fun part sucked, but i didnt like the streamlined stuff

I'll drop some info for some of the games you missed. In the Japanese version of MH1 (there are a lot of differences compared to the NA and EU release), Hammer's basic attack combo did not end in the gold swing it was just 3 pounds (with the 3rd pound having a pretty lackluster MV), unsurprisingly it's arguably Hammer's worst game. MH1NA added the gold wing to it's basic combo as that was a balance change they were planning for MHG in Japan most of MHG's planned balance changes were used in MH1NA and EU. In MH2 and MHF2 KO and Para work a little differently with Para waiting to activate until after the KO duration ends, and KO waiting until after the Para duration ends. This was changed in MHFU to make it so Para cancels KO and KO cancels Para. Hammer is arguably at it's strongest in MH2.

Disabling the gender lock on armor! Hell yes! I am playing as a female in every MH game, and sometimes I am like "Damn, I'd like the other type of armor more tho..."
