Her refusal to break and eventually winning his respect is inspiring and a great moment, but her saying the line "suck my d___" is just dumb imo. There are plenty of other defiant phrases she could have said at that moment. I thought that when this movie came out and I still think that. I realize its supposed to be metaphorical but its just trying too hard. Imagine the reverse and a man is trying to integrate into a predominately women outfit and the male private says "eat my p____". See what I mean?

What people probably do not realize is how movies like this one are made. It is a painstaking process and requires enormous resources and patience. I have been an extra and a featured extra in two movies and you do indeed wait a lot to get on the set and finally roll. I did 18 takes of one scene with Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blond II. For example the set must be absolutely quiet so the heating and air conditioning must be turned off and the air (hot or cold) is blown in from an outside system that cannot be heard on set. The lighting must be perfect, no shadows and it is constantly monitored. Your hair from one take to the next must be the same. It is quite amazing and the food is great!

I so totally understood the wall idea.. also ,the way its getting recorded and colour scheme.. very great way of making this show, unique as it is. I already know which show is playing because of those things. Im glad that this is truly a thing and im not crazy 😅. Thank you for sharing 🫶🏼 Btw respect for the actors & crew for all the effort that had put in this show.

My Great Grandfather owned a home in Upstate New York next to a small lake that he bought as well in the 1880’s. It had an Outside Summer Kitchen and an Inside Winter Kitchen. My Grandmother would drive from Los Angeles to that home in NY Each Summer in the mid to late 1930’s on Dirt Roads (a flat tire/day) ave. speed 30mph and sleeping/eating at farmers homes so that my Dad and my Uncle could experience another kind of life. My Grandfather stayed in Los Angeles working as a Ford Dealership salesman.
