Acrylic / Glass Cigar Humidor 1 YEAR UPDATE
Переглядів 7 тис.4 роки тому
So here we are 1 year later. This is my very simple humidor setup for my cigars. Some boveda packs, hygrometer, and a jar, youre set to go worry and problem free. No plume, no mold, no soggy or stiff stogies #cigars #pssita #humidor
How to Paint your Rifle | CoD call of duty style

Quick vid on how to spray paint your rifles. Cheap, easy, and pretty durable. It'll wear out nice and give it that good battle worn look. Also did a call of duty modern warfare style tiger stripe camo. If only you could do warzone and plunder in real life lol #spraypaint #operatoraf #2a
Glass/Acrylic Cigar Humidor | Cheap & Easy
Переглядів 8 тис.5 років тому
For a beginner like me, a wooden desktop humidor wasn't working out lol. Switched to this glass jar and its super easy now to take care of my cigars. Get a boveda pack and hygrometer and you're good to go
That's right. Even empty glass coffee jars work. You just don't want to leave a sealed glass jar with warm air inside the jar in a cold humid environment or the jar will sweat inside from condensation but most cigars or kept indoors in a controlled environment so that's really not a problem. The idea with wood is it breathes, expands and contracts and less likely to have a condensation issue but yes, it's harder to control.
Dude made a 4min video of an 1min subject, nice
You really need to make more videos. Your presentation is honest and real. More of this is needed on YT.
Brilliant! This is by far the best way to store cigars - unless you have a really expensive humidor. Excellent video!
Plume is just mold and mildew. And people actually smoke it while its on the cigar. I took a sample of "plume" and it was definitely mold.... the sample came from a cigar snob who has been smoking cigars since he was 15 well over 40 years. So yeah...
this is your best choice
Does it make a difference if some cigars inside the jar/box are in their plastic or not? Also one of Churchills in the box is inside a small packet within the humidor jar. Is that fine?
I just switched to glass jars as well after years of struggling with humidity! So easy. Until you buy high quality made humidor, toss those cheap ones!
You still there....how do you keep glass from getting too cold...and keeping the humidity right.
So you don't need any cedar wood? Just a Boveda pack is alright?
yes
Send them to me.
Isn’t 72 a bit much?
theres probably some loss and it equalizes to a nice number around 70
Im curious to know how those in the jar taste with all that extra space in there. Im willing to bet they dont have hardly any taste compared to when u first got them. Because i experienced that with my glass jar and wooden humidor. Those beveda packs are made to operate in a limited space meaning say u have a humidor that holds 100 sticks well u would want keep at least 75 sticks in the humidor if not u are causing the boveda to over work and there isn't enough sticks to circulate the humidity. Trust me i know how this sounds but i fucked up a lot of money learning how to properly store and care for cigars and i have 2 glass jars just like that filled with sticks and i went through the same thing with that. So u kind of want to keep whatever u are storing them in filled
Loving the "bag-a-dor", just a bag full of random smokes with no bands or anything, totally gives off that "DGAF" vibe :)
Pretty much lol. Im not picky and like to keep things simple
how is it holding up in ways of keeping the humidty level right and how often do you change packs
Still holding up well! Just replaced them a few weeks back. Humidity is still the same for me. Cigars still doing great
Lol I just got mine at a dollar store for $3.50
Yeah it amazes me when people spend $10+ for one off cigar websites
Great way to look after cigars for very little money, I fell into the humidor trap , found out the hard way !Just lay it on its side.
Yup I did that at first as well lol. Bought a cheaper one off amazon and only had problems with it
Great. I use a covered Pyrex (glass) container. Holds about 20 loosely packed. I keep three Boveda 69% packs in it with a hydrometer. It remains at that humidity just fine. I paid 6 Dollars at Wm. I don't see myself changing from glass either.
Nice!
@@dudestuff1035 link?
@@dudestuff1035 i wanted to mention, the cigar def didnt taste as all the other ones did all month, its my favorite cigar and i noticed the difference. is it my humidity? idk. my hygrometer says 69% where i been keeping them the past 3 months
Good to hear haha I just did the same thing today 3 69 packs I had and a mason jar 🫡
